Fighting (again), and Falling

Marisa left so that she could go talk to Liam. “Why?” Gage complained, “He’s just being a big baby.”
    Marisa didn’t say anything, she just got up from her seat and left. Me and Harry exchanged a look.
    Kerg moved to Marisa’s seat, which was next to me. Harry grumbled something under his breath. “So, Kayla, where are you from?”
    “Illinois.” I said taking a bite of lobster.
    “I’ve never been there. What’s it like?”
    “Cold.”
    “Really, I thought that it would hot...like you.”
    I glanced up from my food to see that he was staring at me, “I have been quite hot lately. There has been a lot of fires.”
    Jean laughed, “You’re funny. We don’t see a lot of girls around.”
    “Why not?” Harry said in a voice that sounded different from his own.
    “We don’t have time to talk to girls with our busy schedule.” Jean said.
    Kerg grinned, “Nope.” Then he reached into his front pocket and pulled out a huge diamond necklace on a gold chain, “I stole you this diamond necklace, Kayla.”
    Harry tensed beside me. “From where?”
    “Greece.”
    I thought before taking the necklace, “Nah that’s okay I don’t like to wear things that weigh more than ten pounds.”
    The table laughed. Harry smiled slightly. Kerg seemed to laugh louder than the rest of them. “Okay, understandable. I’ll be sure to find you something less than that to give to you tomorrow.”
    Harry took a deep breath beside me. I shot a quick smile at Kerg, telling him that I meant for him to see it, and then kissed Harry for a few seconds on the lips. A few boys at the table whistled, and when I pulled back I saw Harry smiling.
    “Alright.” I said to Kerg.
    He was still grinning though, “I like a girl who’s hard to get.”
    Gage grinned, “Me too. Like that babe that just walked away.”
    I chuckled, “Good luck getting her. She’s about as loyal to Liam as a dog.”   
    The boys laughed, “Puppy love!”
    Gage frowned, “She does seem quite like a girl that doesn’t like to break rules.”
    “That’s a little true,” I said, “But we did steal a few guns so you know...”
    More laughter. These guys laughed a lot.



    Liam was standing on the top of the ship, alone. The wind blew in my hair as I walked over to him.   
    “Are you okay?” I said, trying to stand close to him.
    He nodded. “Yeah, I guess. I just hate watching that guy hit on you.”   
    I pursed my lips. “Yeah, but don’t let it get to you. For right now, we need food and shelter and they’re providing it. Plus, I would never leave you.”
    Liam smiled and kissed me for a few seconds, but it was interrupted by the sound of many footsteps.
    I turned my head to see Gage, Jean, Kerg, Harry, Kayla, and some of the other crew standing right in front of us.
    “There’s the two love birds!” Jean said. “We were looking all over for you.”
    I looked at Kayla, who just stared back at me.
    “Well, here we are. So can we help you with something?” Liam said. I grabbed his hand to tell him to back off, and he looked at me and nodded a tiny bit.
    “Whoa man,” Gage said. “Calm down! That girl’s hot enough to divide between two guys.”
    The next few seconds was a blur. Liam quickly let go of my hand and ran up to Gage and punched him right in the nose. Some of the guys stepped back, but Jean and Kerg stepped forward and pushed Liam back. Harry pulled Kayla back and I headed towards them. Harry tried to get in the middle of it, trying to hold back Liam and Gage, who was bleeding a lot. Kayla and I both screamed when Gage tried to hit Liam but ended up punching Harry. He fell on the ground, shook his head, then got back up.
    “Oooo,” Kayla said. “You’re going to get it now......”
    Liam hit Jean in the balls multiple times until he fell down, holding his crotch. “Get them!” Gage yelled, and the guys charged forward while Kayla and I ran for our lives.


    Jean stopped them, “Back off! We figured this was gonna happen eventually...let Liam and Harry fight Kerg and Gage and just get it the hell over with!”
    The boys immediately backed off, forming a circle around the four boys in the middle. Me and Marisa joined it.
    Liam had a bloody nose and Marisa looked like she wanted to go in but I put my arm out to stop  her, “Let them go at it.” I said and Marisa pouted.
    Liam went at Gage, but now that Gage was ready it was a pretty even fight. Liam got Gage in the jaw but then Gage punched Liam in the gut several times. 
Liam fell to the ground, right on his arm and let out a sound of pain.
    But he quickly got up and the two went at it again. I turned to watch Harry and Kerg. Kerg went in first, and Harry blocked his punch and kicked him in the stomach. Kerg punched Harry in the face, whipping his face around and sending his curly hair flying.
    Harry knelt to the ground and elbowed Kerg in the back of the knee, causing him to fall on his face. Harry then grabbed his arms and pulled until I heard a POP.
    Kerg cried out but quickly turned around and smacked Harry in the nose, but no blood came out. Harry stuck his leg out and tripped Kerg so that he fell flat on his back. That’s when Gage screamed.
    Liam punched him so many times that he was about to fall off the side of the boat. At the last minute, before he fell, Liam grabbed his arm and pulled him back up.
    He was too nice. Gage quickly pushed Liam over the side of the boat and I really thought that he fell but his hands were still on the railing. Gage was ready to push him off and Marisa tried to run forward but a guy grabbed her. Someone tried to grab me but I pushed him away and said I wasn’t gonna do anything. Yea right.
    Harry ran over to Liam, leaving Kerg on the ground. He hit Gage in the face and pulled Liam up, and Liam collapsed on the ground, breathing heavily. “Thanks, dude.”
    “No pro-” Harry was cut off as Kerg ran over and pushed Harry off the side of the boat. He didn’t have time to grab the rail.
    I ran over the side to the side of the boat. “Hey!” I screamed at him.
    He was in the water, the waves running over him, “Blleeeggghh.” He responded.
    I went to the left to get one of those life saver things when I felt someone push me off the side of the boat. I looked up just in time to see Jean looking shocked that I was falling.
    By the looks of it he was aiming for Liam but missed. I screamed as I fell into the freezing water with Harry.
