Jumping through roofs and pressing buttons

Ski Mask’s were for winter, I thought. I had a gun in my hand. This day was really weird. But I was so glad Kayla didn’t have one and she was hopefully going to stay in the basement the whole time.....unless she did something crazy which was probably going to happen. She sunk a boat.

They drove us to the bank and I tried to sit still. Harry was holding a giant sack for the money.

“Question,” Kayla asked. “How are we going to get ON the roof?”

“Um.....climb?” Jean replied. Then he parked.

“Don’t screw up,” Jean said as we got out of the car. “And once you get as much money as possible run out here. I covered the license plate so they wouldn’t track us. So gooooo!”

We walked towards the bank and climbed on top of the roof using a ladder that was there. Lucky.

“Laser time!!!” Kayla screamed. “I call jumping first!”

Harry took out the laser and pressed a red button on it and it started shooting out red lasers, I guess. He made a big circle that we all could fit through and took out the section of the roof as quiet as possible.

“How exactly are we going to drop without anyone seeing us?” I asked.

“Like this,” Kayla said, jumping down and disappearing.

I didn’t wait for the others to jump because I had to find the basement. I walked around, it was really dark, and tried to not to run into things.

“Who’s there?” A voice called out.

    Ahhhh, crap.

    “Um...God?”

“God?” The voice responded, questioning me.

“Yes, God. I have come to tell you that you will the lottery next year?”

    “Really?”

“Yes. But now I have to go so...Bye.” I ran away, sprinting down the hallway and stopped when I came to a stairwell. I walked down it slowly, trying not to freak out about basements. I hate basements.

It was pretty small though, which was surprising. I kept the light off and walked over to where a lot of buttons and stuff were. I had no idea what any of it meant.

There was a green button that read, “CALL SECURITY.” Nope, not that one. And then a red one that said, “TURN OFF.”

I wasn’t sure exactly what that meant, but I pressed it anyways. Nothing happened.

I pulled out my walkie talkie and said, “Hello?? Did anything just happen?”

Harry’s voice responded, “Yeah, I think so. The door just unlocked...”

    “Yes! I did something!”

“But stay down there in case you didn’t unlock everything. Over.”

But the basement was scarrrrrrryyyy. I looked at the other buttons, and they were surprisingly all labeled. One read, SECURITY CAMERA.

I clicked it and on the screen I saw Harry in a ski mask walking around. Hahahaha. He looked really hot in black. “Harrrrrrry,” I said in my talkie. “You look good right now.”

“How do you know?” he said back.

    “I can seeeeee you.”

“That’s kind of creepy,” he responded. He gave the camera the finger.

    “HARRY!” I yelled.

“Oh! I thought you were lying. Hahaha I guess you really can see it.” He gave me a thumbs up and walked away. “Gotta go, bye.”

    “Say over.”

    “Over.”
