The next day we drove to Lacey's house. I was nervous as fuck.

I honestly didn't want to be here. I didn't know how she was going to react.

"You guys stay in the car."

"You sure baby?"

"Yeah."

I walk up to her front door and knock a couple times. I was surprised she answered.

"Jade?"

"Yeah hi Lacey."

"What are you doing?"

"Well I'm getting married in a month."

"Oh my goodness you and Kyle are getting married!"

"Actually I left Kyle about 10 months ago."

"Wow and you're getting married to someone so soon after being with him for 3 years?"

"Mine and Kyle's relationship wasn't a real relationship. I didn't love him."

"It's ok he didn't love you either."

"Yeah I know. He constantly cheated on me."

"Yeah I know that too."

"Wait you knew he was cheating on me and you didn't tell me?"

"Well I wasn't going to rat him out. That would of fucked things up for me."

"What do you mean?"

"I was fucking Kyle!"

"Excuse me?!"

"Klye and I would fuck like all the time. He said he wasn't getting anything from you."

"Are you serious?"

"When you'd stay over at my house and Kyle would be there after you went to sleep we'd go fuck in the bathroom."

"I can't believe you did that to me? You were suppose to be my best friend!"

"Oh well. Shit happens."

I have no idea what came over me but I smacked her. I smacked her hard!

"Fuck you! You always were a slut!"

I turned to walk away and Caleb was running up to me.

"You ok baby?"

"Yeah I'll tell you in the car. Let's go."

I get back in the car and scoot my seat up as far as I could for Derek. I felt bad he was getting smushed.

"Jade I'm fine back here. I have enough room. I just wouldn't have been able to do this for over 12 hours! Driving around town is fine."

"Baby what happened?"

I told Caleb and Derek everything that was said.

"I'm not upset that he was banging other girls. I'm pissed that one of them was my supposed best friend!"

"I'm sorry baby. Is there anywhere else you wanna go?"

"Actually yeah. I wanna see Kyle's brother, Trey."

"Are you sure that's a good idea?"

"Like I said he wasn't like Klye."

"Ok so how do we get there."

I grab his phone and put it in the gps.

We pull up to his house and I go to get out of the car.
