when the time is right

"you know you can't love everything about someone, right?"

she paused, looking at him directly.

 he looked back at her out of the corner of his eye.

"that's not true, i think you could if you really tried."

she kept watching his eyes for a lie, she searched and searched but couldn't find one.

he watched her too for a sign of life, hoping that what she said couldn't be true.
for he loved everything about her even despite the things he didn't want to love.

 and she loved him back, just maybe not enough for him to realize it.
