you know, i tried to capture
the way you looked in the shop

tried to reconstruct your physical art
but my paintbrush wasn't good enough

your brown hair, naturally curly
a natural beauty with a broken history

you held yourself up
a hand wrapped around your waist

a constant state of agony for all i want is
to pull you closer as i look out the window at you waiting in line

we connected eyes at some point
i couldn't smile, i couldn't say hi

my mind shouted at me saying,
"this is the most beautiful girl we've ever seen."

and it's true
you're the most beautiful girl i've ever seen

i heard them call out your name
aylah, that's all i have of you

i guess it's fine
seeing you in pass by, a gentle reminder

that beautiful people are everywhere
maybe not gentle, it was sudden and it was

core shaking, someone took me by the spine and rattled me

woke me up and said, "don't just let her disappear."

A/N: i wanted to write a book about two people who kept finding eachother at different points in their lives. and each time they would talk more but i can't do it. so here's an expert of what i was imagining.
