The family gathered food they had brought from home. Larry bought corn on the cob from the store yesterday. He let the corn soak in a cooler. He would later place the corn with the stock over the fire to cook it. (This is Delicious By the way)

Heidi and Cynthia cut up some vegetables and and meat. They were having chicken tacos that night and everyone was really excited. Zoe was setting her, Evan and Oakley's sleeping bags up inside the tent.

She loved camping, which surprised a lot of people. She loved going when she was younger with her family. Oakley made his way inside the tent to try to scare her. The only thing was, the zipper to the tent isn't quiet. Zoe saw him coming but pretended to be scared when he yelled "Boo"!

"Ahhh! You scared me, buddy". Zoe chuckled

"I did?! Yay"!

The child hugged his Mom before running off to his Dad and Uncle. Over across the campsite, Evan and Connor sat looking at a inch worm.

"This thing is cool". Connor said holding the worm on his finger.

"I know, I always thought they were cool. I would find them outside and make leaf houses for them". Evan reminisced

Oakley ran over to see what they were looking at. They showed him the worm and he was just as fascinated by it as them. Cynthia yelled over to the boys

"Hey! Don't play with the worm until after dinner! You're going to have to walk to the bathrooms to wash your hands now"!

"Mom, we're not kids! I know I have to wash my hands"! Connor yelled back

"Yeah.. sure". Cynthia sarcastically responded before returning to her conversation between Heidi and Larry.

Oakley then spotted a pile of dirt. Of course it looked like way to much fun to pass up not playing in. The kid ran off to the huge pile. Evan saw this and ran off to try to stop him.

"Oakley don't---"! Before he could finish he tripped and fell face first into the dirt... or I guess it was more like mud... you know the type of mud that you get after it rains, the soupy mud... yeah, well Evan now is quite acquainted with it.

"Evan! Are you oka--"?! Connor yelled racing after him before slipping in the now huge pile of soupy mud

"Connor... are you okay"? Evan said half joking, half being sarcastic because he was mad he fell.

Oakley just stood there wide eyed before running off back to the rest of the family. Connor looked over to Evan and started to smirk.

"This is so not funny". Evan pouted as he was covered from head to toe in mud

"It's not that it's funny... it's just you look hilarious"! Connor broke out into a fit of laughter

Evan took a handful of mud and threw it at Connor's face. The mud smacked against Connor's nose.

"What the hell, Hansen?! What was that for"?!

"For laughing. Now that you say it... you do look hilarious"!

Connor narrowed his eyes before taking a handful of the soupy mud and smearing it in Evan's face.

"Hey! Not cool"!

The two then broke out into a full on mud fight, throwing the liquidus mud at each other before getting stopped.

"Oh my gosh... what the heck happened"?! Zoe gasped looking down at her husband and brother. In her arms was Oakley, thumb in his mouth with a mischievous look in his eye.

"You did this"! Connor said staring at the toddler.

"What happened?! You two are a mess"! Zoe said holding her son with one arm and her other was on her hip.

"Um.. well... it's a funny story. So funny in fact that when you hear it... your going to laugh so hard". Evan said deliberately not looking directly into Zoe's eyes.

"If it's so funny then... please share". Zoe lowered her voice as well as narrowed her eyes

"Um.. C-Connor... why don't you tell your sister exactly what happened". Evan passed it off to his brother in law. Completely looking away

Before Connor could get a word out, Heidi, Cynthia and Larry made there way over. Immediately an verbal gasp went through them.

"You know, I kind of expected this from the kid... not you two---well actually... I'm not surprised". Larry said before turning back to the corn.

"We can explain"! Connor defended

"I hope you can... otherwise, this would worry me". Cynthia chuckled

"Oakley ran off to the mud pile and Evan chased after him to stop him! Evan slipped and fell. I went over to help Evan when I slipped. Then... Evan turned into an ass--I mean... meany"!

"Evan what did you do"? Heidi asked partly laughing

"He started laughing at me! So I shoved mud in his face. He then did the same to me. It then turned into a small mud battle.... which I won". Evan cheered to himself for the decided win

"Oh my... why? Why is this even happening right now? Go get cleaned up in the shower house....". Zoe grumbled

"Wait! I don't know where it is"! Evan said smiling mischievously

"Me neither. Could you show us there, little sis"?

"Ughh! Why do I always somehow end up mothering you two. You're my husband and BIG brother. Alright I'll show you there but I am NOT going in, got it"? Zoe snapped

Both of the men nodded while smirking. Zoe placed Oakley down and told him to stay with his grandparents. On the walk there, Evan moved closer and closer to Zoe.

"Evan Hansen I swear... if you try to hug me while you're covered in mud"! Zoe said before Evan even got close enough to reach out to touch her.

"You're no fun"! Evan grumbled

"Hey Evan, look"! Connor suddenly shouted from behind them.

"Connor? Connor? Where are you"?! Zoe shouted back

"I'm over here! Look at his mushroom"! Connor laughed as he pointed to a gigantic mushroom.

"Ohh! It's so big"! Evan yelled running over to it. The two men sat down next to it.

"Oh my god, come on, kids"! Zoe said sarcastically as she approached them.

"I wonder how many balls you'd be tripping if you ate that"! Connor joked

"You would probably not even want to come back down from that high".

Zoe rolled her eyes before calling for her husband and brother again. Eventually the two men followed her. Both Evan and Connor were just messing with Zoe. She's been extremely worried about Oakley and needs some fun.

Finally they arrived at the bath house. Zoe told them she was headed back to the campsite and to just follow the road back to the site when they finish up.

When Zoe arrived back at the camp everyone else was sitting around the fire.

"They Zo, take care of the two kids"? Cynthia asked

"Yeah, they got distracted on the way there from a large mushroom... it was a trip..". Zoe said partly making an inside joke that only herself, Evan and Connor could enjoy.

Oakley sat playing with a stick and rock, sitting next to Larry. This was when he said

"Baseball glove, Papa"?

He had remembered Larry's baseball glove. Zoe found tears start to drift slowly down her cheeks. She quickly swiped them away to kiss the boy on his cheek. This startled the boy before he hugged Zoe's legs.

"Mama". He said sweetly.
