Connor held Oakley's hand as they stood in line for the tickets. The boy watched as people of all ages stood waiting as well. Oakley looked over and saw a woman unloading her Go Kart from her trailer.

"Wow". Oakley said under is breath in pure amazement

Finally Connor payed for the tickets and in they went. They sat at the top of the bleachers away from the track, but not to far, they could still see perfectly. Connor didn't want the dirt from the track to get into Oakley's eyes.

"Here bud, put these on". Connor said pulling out ear plugs.

Without any question, the kid slipped the plugs into his ears. Karts could we seen getting into starting position. The 4 year old bounced with excitement. Connor looked down at him and chuckled.

Finally the starting announcement had been made. Ready, set, GO! screamed the man from the small mic bunker conveniently placed at the very top over looking the track.

As the Karts drifted around the dirt track, the boys eyes lit up. He loved it, more then simple words could describe. He wanted to be apart of it. Even if the kid was only 4, he knew what he wanted to do.

During the break, Oakley taped Connor on the shoulder.

"Uncle Connor, I want to do this when I'm older". Oakley said as seriously as possible.

Normally Connor would chuckled and agree with him for the kids sake but, this time... Connor knew it was different. From the look in Oakley's eyes... he knew. One day... it's going to be him out there drifting around those corners, getting into crashes and crossing that line in 1st place.

"You go for it, Bud... Uncle Connor will be cheering for you the whole way".

The small boy smiled wide before bringing his attention back to the track.

CONNORS POV
Seeing Oakley smile like that was worth every penny I could've ever spent on anything. I knew he had just found his dream. Yes, it's dangerous, yes, Zoe will freak out but... this isn't about that now. This child is the happiest person in the world right now.

After the race, I took Oakley to go get a shirt and small toy truck. I slipped the big t-shirt over over the boys head. We were about to leave when I saw the driver signing stuff.

"Hey Lil Connor, wanna get your truck signed by the real driver"?

The boys gasped as he immediately pulled my hand towards the line of people. I smiled and followed. The man stood behind a table holding a Sharpie. When it was our turn the man smiled down at Oakley.

"Hey kiddo". He greeted

"H-H-Hi".

I laughed in my head. That's his Daddy coming out of him.

"What's your name, buddy"? The man asked

"O-Oakley Connor Hansen". The kid awnsered

"Awesome name, let me sign your truck".

He signed quickly and gave Oakley one more smile before we walked away. He's such a nice guy. The boy seemed completely dumbstruck over what had happened.

"Lil me? You okay"? I asked him curiously

He looked up at me, his blue eyes were brightened by the amount of lighting surrounding us. A sweet smile appeared on his face until he said

"I'm going to be just like him some day... just wait".

The words seemed to echo in my head. There wasn't to much Oakley was passionate about... he just liked a lot of things.. however, this moment was something I don't think I'll ever be able to forget.

We made it back to my truck, the same truck I had gotten Oakley for his birthday, except obviously bigger and.... a real truck. I placed him in his car seat and strapped him in. It wasn't to late but Zoe would've definitely had him in a Pj's by now getting him ready for bed.

The small boy yawned as he held tightly onto his signed truck. I carefully unhooked his bike helmet from his head. Within minutes of driving Oakley was asleep.

I smiled at him through the mirror. I did good... for someone who vowed to never have kids... I did really good with my nephew. Maybe someday... if I meet the right girl... or guy.... I'll think about having kids or adopting... we'll just have to see what the future brings.

I pulled into Evan and Zoe's driveway. I unstrapped Oakley and carried him with his head resting on my shoulder. He still grasped his truck in his hand. The oversized shirt he was wearing was down to his knees.

I knocked gently on the door. It was opened immediately by Evan. A warm smile appeared immediately on his face. Zoe was sat in the living room, she looked up and placed her hand on her heart then lip syncing the word "Awe".

Evan carefully took the sleeping boy from my arms. Evan took him to his room as Zoe approached me.

"You did good Uncle Connor". Zoe smiled

"There's something I've got to tell you guys". I started

Zoe looked scared before sitting down waiting for Evan to return. Once he did, I let a small smirk come across my face.

"He found his dream".
