The rest of the week was great. Oakley had officially remembered Zoe and Evan. He even started to remember Connor. It seems that the people he was closest with, he's remembering first.

When the family arrived home, it was late. Oakley was knocked out asleep in the back seat. His head was bouncing with the bumps on the road. His head hung low leaving his neck bent.

"How does he sleep like that"? Evan questioned as he looked back in the seat from driving.

Zoe just giggled scrolling through her phone. When they pulled into the driveway, Evan headed to the trunk to grab everyone's suitcases. Zoe carried the boy.

"Do you need any help"? Zoe asked balancing Oakley in her arms.

"No, I got it. Go on inside to get him to bed. I'll be in soon".

Zoe smiled at her husband before turning away to the house. She looked down at her son and a sweet smile pressed against her cheeks. She felt that a lot of progress had been made on that camping trip. There one step closer to having there son back.

The child shifted awake slightly in Zoe's arms. He clung himself to her. His small hands and arms wrapped around her neck. Zoe pressed her lips to his head whispering an I love You.

"I love you too, Mama. I'm happy I can remember you". His lisp was still there but there was also a small bit of maturity in what he had said.

As Zoe carried him the rest of the way to his room, he was fast asleep once they had reached the door to his bedroom. Unfortunately, he had to be put into his PJ's which may annoy him slightly.

She lay him down onto his nicely made bed. He curled up into a ball as Zoe rummaged through his closet to find some clean pj's. After digging, she found his SpaceShip footy's. She dressed him which caused a small whine.  When she was done she placed the clothes in the bathroom where the washer and dryer were.

Luckily he brushed his teeth before they left camp. Evan walked into Oakley's room with Zoe's hand in his. The two looked down at the sleeping boy. Zoe tucked her head under Evan's chin.

"I've said it before and I'll say it again.... He looks so much like you. He's definitely your child, Zo".

"He's not just mine. He's both of ours. He may look like me but... your Mom was right. He does remind me of you, a lot. Well..... and Connor".

"Haha, yeah. He's always been Connor's little buddy". Evan quietly chuckled.

FLASHBACK OF CUTENESS!!!!
Zoe and Evan had been trying for hours to get the baby to sleep. The two parents hadn't slept in what seemed like days.

"Oakley.. Honey... please"! Zoe begged as she rocked him in her arms

Evan held a small teddy bear up to the crying child. It didn't seem to be working at all. Zoe passed Oakley to Evan thinking that maybe he just wanted his Dad. Well.... that wasn't the case.

A loud roar escaped the baby's mouth as he looked back at Zoe in desperation almost. Quickly, Evan passed him back to Zoe Which lessened the crying slightly.

"Baby, Mommy and Daddy need to sleep". Zoe begged more.

It wasn't night anymore, as it was going on 11 that morning. The small knock was heard from on the nursery. There stood Connor, he held a small paper bag.

"Hey guys---Wow, he's a screamer". Connor chuckled

"He won't sleep. We've been up all night...". Zoe said as she yawned barely able to stand anymore

"Oh really? Huh, wait let me try". Connor said

"We've been trying all night, Con. If it doesn't work don't take it personal---". Zoe was cut off by silence.
