Day With Connor, Cady, Janis and Damian/ An Important Question

"Connor, I don't want to cause a problem"! Zoe worried

"Don't worry, Zoe! I insist"!

"Are you sure"?

"Yep! We're meeting with Cady and some of her friends from high school today. It will be great for the boys to come along"!

"Zoe, we have to go soon"! Evan called from the car

"Ugh.... alright. Boys! Come say hi to Uncle Connor"! Zoe called upstairs

Oakley raced down with Strummer at his heels. They beemed happily as they both hugged Connor's legs. He smiled and took each boys hand in his.

"Here, I packed bags for each of them. The blue and white backpack is Oakley's, the green and purple backpack is Strummer's".

"Thanks, Zo. You ready guys"? Connor asked

"Yeah"! Oakley cheered

"Bye, boys! Mommy and Daddy will see you tonight"! Zoe waved from the front door.

Strummer's expression changed. They weren't coming too?

"Don't worry, Strum. I'll protect you"! Oakley grinned

The ride consisted of nursery songs like, the Wheels on The Bus, Oh My Darling Clementine, Ba Ba Black Sheep, Mary Had a Little Lamb and Head Shoulders Knees and Toes.

How do Evan and Zoe listen to this all the time? One reason why Connor doesn't want kids of his own. He loves his nephews but he isn't mad about returning them to his sister and brother in law at the end of the day.

They arrived at Cady's house. She had a really nice house, surrounded by beautiful trees and nature.

"Ready to see Cady"?! Connor asked getting the boys excited

The three walked to the front door together. Cady awnsered the door with much excitement.

"Hello! Welcome, come in"! Cady greeted allowing the guests inside.

"Hey baby, girl". Connor smiled wide planting a kiss on Cady's cheek

"I missed you so much, Conny"!

"Uncle Conny"! Oakley laughed

"Hey! Don't get any ideas, kiddo. Cady's the only person who gets to call me that"!

"Anyway! Janis and Damian will be here soon. Janis had to stop and get more paints and Damian got to involved in Taylor Swift's new album".

"Sounds like him alright. This will be there first time meeting the kiddo's".

"Yeah! I hope Zoe knows what she's done by letting them help babysit".

"I know, I think it will be okay. They'll love them"!

Oakley stood looking at a painting hung in Cady's living room. It was a portrait of three people. He recognized one as Cady.

"Janis painted that for me". Cady explained

"Who's Janis"? Oakley asked wide eyed

"That would be me". A voice boomed through out the house.

She had frightened Strummer quite a bit. He ran crying right to Connor, who lifted him up onto his hip to calm him down.

"Jeez, Janis. We haven't even been here for 2 minutes and you've already scared a child". Another voice shouted

This caused Strummer to cry more as he hid his head in Connor's neck.

"You were saying"? Janis glared

"It's okay, bud. This is just Janis and Damian". Cady soothed

The boy calmed down enough to stop his loud screeching. Oakley wandered over behind Cady afraid of there loud adults who had rushed into the house.
