Fight

"Okay class, we have some new students starting today. They're twins! Please help me welcome Cosmo and Wanda Fairyton".

The class clapped and gave them a warm welcome to the 11th grade classroom. Oakley fiddled with his pencil on his desk not paying much attention to the... interesting new students.

Cohen wasn't at school today, his father and step mother were taking him somewhere for his 16th birthday. This meant Oakley was alone. It's only the first few days of his JR year and already, he's over it.

He hates making himself known but in a way wishes he could just be confident like Strummer. Why am I so broken, Oakley thought. Evan was making him start to see a therapist for his anxiety. He has to pretend to be happy everyday because this therapist can't find out about Oakley's deep depression.

It's really difficult because it's a therapist's job to see right though patients. Oakley goes to his Dad's office for these sessions but can't see Evan. It's because he doesn't want to open up to his father about anything so having his Dad for a therapist wouldn't be very beneficial.

It was finally the end of the day, Oakley sat in his advisement. His free time to relax and take a breather from the long day. The only thing is, Strummer's in his advisement. It isn't that Oakley doesn't love his brother, there best friends. It's that in school, Strummer's someone else to Oakley.

He causes problems and makes poor Oakley want to shrivel up into a tiny ball. The brother's pretend to not know each other in school. They never bring up the fact there related until the teacher does.

Strummer was sitting over with the new kids. He is able to fit right in. He gets perfect grades and he doesn't even pay attention in class... or study at home. Oakley always ends up doing his homework for him because Strummer gets the bullys off his back.

For an 8th grader, Strummer isn't afraid to defend what he wants to. His brother isn't mean at all, he's just touchy about certain topics, such as his name. He LOVES his name, it's a musical name which music is what Strummer loves just as much as Oakley loves to race.

In fact, Zoe has been giving Strummer lessons on playing the guitar, he's already just as good as her! Oakley himself is racing in the county wide competitions every weekend. He's one of the top racers there.

"I'm going to ask that everyone remain working". The teacher said making it clear she was talking about Strummer.

Of course, Strummer didn't care. He was completely okay with talking when it wasn't okay. In fact he thrived off of the tension in the air. Oakley gripped the table, feeling himself sweat.

Strummer didn't say anything to the teacher, he just continued to talk. The teacher continued to glare at Strummer. Again it wasn't even noticed. Oakley started to find himself shutting his eyes tightly, hoping everything would just disappear.

"Strummer, can you play be quiet and allow other students to work"? The teacher's questioned

"No ones working, sir. If no ones working then it's the perfect time to talk". Strummer smirked

Before the anything else could happen, the bell rang.

"Strummer, I'd like to speak with you". The teacher demanded

"I can't today sir. I have to go get my baby sister. Can we please talk tomorrow"? Strummer grined before walking straight out the door.

"We don't have a baby sister". Oakley said quietly

"I know. But we have a cousin".

I groaned and walked with my brother through the hallways to the 3rd grade wing. Bailey, Connor and Cady's one daughter is waiting. She was far more intelligent then what anyone would expect.

"It took you two long enough"! Bailey grumbled

"Where's your brother"? Oakley asked

"Geoffrey's probably still waiting at his classroom".

Bailey and Geoffrey, are twins. They're not in the same class though which bothers Geoff but doesn't affect Bailey at all. It's weird...

"Let's go get him then get out of here". Strummer yawned

The three walked to the other 3rd grade classroom around the corner. Sure enough, there was Geoff. His eyes lit up, they all walked out.

"Awe look, it's the tree lover"! A kid spat at Oakley

Russell Austins, one of Oakley's many bullies.

"Go away". Oakley frowned

"What? Why would I do that? Aren't we having such a great conversation? I have so many questions about your sexuality".

"Shut up! I'm not gay, and even if I was it shouldn't matter"!

"Looks like I hit a nerve. Let me try to fix things". Russell starting approaching Oakley quickly.

"I'd step back a few feet if I were you"! Strummer growled

"What are you going to do? You're just a shimp, a pathetic shimp"! Russell roared

"I'll put you flat on your ass"! Strummer tackled the football player to the ground

"Get off of me, you pest"! Russell complained

Before anything happened, Russell had tossed Strummer from his back and was kicking the crap out of him.

"STOP! GET OFF OF HIM"! Oakley screamed as he ripped the guy from his brother

"What the hell? How are you so strong"? Russell asked more in surprise then annoyance

Oakley found his anger over powering his anxiety in that moment, he backed him up against some lockers.

"If you ever lay a hand on my brother again, I'll distroy you"! Oakley yelled

It didn't take long for the teachers and staff to get to the scene of the fight. They saw Oakley holding Russell against some lockers so they didn't ask who fought. Oakley was called to the office along with Russell and Strummer as in insult. Bailey and Geoffrey headed home as they were instructed.

Strummer was beating up really bad too. He was bleeding and even seeing him like this made Oakley want to punch Russell again.

The punishment was a week of OSS (Out of school suspension) which would go on Oakley's permanent record. They called Evan and Zoe about the whole thing.

"Strummer, when Mom and Dad gets here to complete ban me from everything for the rest of my life.... know I care about you".

"Oakley, there not going to literally kill you. We share a room, I'll see you... sometimes".

Evan and Zoe walked into the office to have a meeting with the principal. Zoe gasped when she saw Strummer's face.

"You need to tell them". Strummer whispered

"No. I'm not telling them about me getting bullied".

"So you'd rather let this go on your permanent record"?

Oakley didn't respond, he just frowned and took it.
