I slowly started to regain consciousness, and noticed there were people in the room with me. Slowly opening my eyes I saw two faces I had missed so much.
"Hey Lilypod," Gale greeted and Katniss smiled at me, a tear in her eye.
"You're okay Lily. You've just been asleep for a few days." Katniss told me, rubbing her thumb across my hand gingerly.
"Are we home yet?" I asked looking between the two, they exchanged sad looks and looked at me upset, "What?" Then I got scared, "Where's Prim?"
"She's fine," Katniss urged me, "So is Mom, we got them out in time."
"What do you mean? What happened?
"After the Games, they sent in hovercrafts. And they started dropping firebombs." Gale's voice was low.
My eyes started watering, "We're not in 12?"
Gale looked like he lost some of himself, "There is no District 12. It's all gone."
"They got rid of it like they had done to 13," Katniss looked down.
I looked at the ceiling. Everything was destroyed. My home. All because of them. The Capitol. They took everything from me. First my sanity, then my baby, then Peeta, and now my home. I've had enough. They're going to pay. They're going to die.
