It has been two weeks since Mia Boni's death and two weeks since the trio met for further discussion on Ara Agosti. They had decided to put their search on hold, afraid their action are being watched.

Though they have practically put the search on stop, Diego just couldn't get Ara out of his mind. He's been constantly trying to figure out a way to reach her as soon as possible before those unknown people starts killing more girls.

When Diego finally thought of getting the details of the orphans Demetrio had been sponsoring from the bank, he was denied. He was denied when he inquired the bank to get Demetrio's fund transfer statements, the banks wasn't ready to help Diego because he wasn't from the police department.

"What more can I do? How will I find her? Is she even alive?

The questions only gave him severe headache and nothing else.

"Sir?..... Excuse me, sir?..... Mr. Morreti?....." the loud voice of Luciana dragged him out of his reverie.

"Ah... What were you saying?"

"You have a meeting with Mr. Paul Noel in an hour, sir" Luciana reminded Diego as she watched him trying to process the simple information with much difficulty.

Diego massaged his temple, the headache got worse and he seems to not being able to concentrate on any matter. Though postponing the meeting with Mr. Noel sounds good yet it's important for their investment in the new firearm technology. He tried harder to ease the throbbing pain in his head.

"Are you okay, sir? You look disturbed. Would you like to have a cup of coffee, sir?" Luciana's concern voice pulled him out again from his reverie.

"Yes, please. Thank you" Diego replied with a light smile as he watched her retreating back.

Its been almost a month since Luciana had joined Agosti Firearms and despite all the chaos that was happening, Diego did not fail to notice her. Luciana have been a diligent of a secretary and not what he saw her in the first two weeks; trying to get attention. Especially two weeks ago, Diego had been extremely harsh on her, constantly reminding her indirectly about her purpose in the office.

Maybe she had realised that none of her tactics will work on Diego. She stopped.

The door opened after a soft knock, Luciana came back with a cup of steaming hot coffee. That was when he noticed, its half past seven, the sun had set long ago.

"Aren't you supposed to go back? What are you still doing here?" he asked.

"You happened to be disturbed the entire day and I understood from the previous talk that meeting Mr. Noel is important. So, I decided to stay for a little longer to remind you before I leave" She replied genuinely.

"You-"

"Trust me, sir. I-I have no other intention than to remind you on the meeting, sir. I apologies if I have made a mistake, sir" she blabbered interrupting him.

Diego couldn't help but to let out a laugh, he sure have intimidated her very much for her to react such way. He was aware that now Luciana isn't the same as how she was when she first came into the job.

"Relax Ms. Luciana." Diego gesture her to sit in the chair opposite him. "Good to know that you have no such intention" he said and sipped the hot coffee that somewhat made him feel good.

"I still have, sir to be honest." she blurted out suddenly.

Diego was caught off guard with her sudden confession. Is this the timid and shy Luciana who had been silently trying to get attention from him before? He questioned himself. He stared at her and remain quiet.
