Chandra headed out of the room dragging Ella with her. She couldn't sit there any longer hearing all that her husband and the newly claimed Ara Agosti blabber. She should be happy that Ara is finally here but she couldn't. Chandra was happy when she heard the news of Ara, not after meeting her.
The arrival of Luciana as Ara Agosti failed to excite her, not because of Ara now found but it was the girl itself. Luciana, she didn't possess any resemblance of her parents. Not even a single gesture of this girl reminds her of Ara, Chandra was disappointed.
How can she be Ara? Is she really the daughter of Demetrio and Ruffina?
She could be overreacting too, maybe expecting too much from the long-lost daughter of her dear friend. Chandra heaved a sigh and dropped on the edge of her bed.
"Chandra ma? Is everything alright?" Ella gave a light squeeze on her shoulder.
"I don't think so, Ella."
"What happen?"
"It's the girl. I don't think she is Ara"
"What makes you think like that?" Ella now sat next to Chandra in the dimly lit room.
"She doesn't look like Ara, she doesn't behave like how the Ara I knew would. She is different. I can feel it, Ella" Chandra mumbled.
"hmm... Chandra ma. Luciana is still new to this ambience, she might be feeling a little out of place. In fact, I know her since the day I have been in the orphanage. She has been a shy and timid girl.
To top it off, Luciana has been struggling alone without her parents' guidance since young. That could also be a reason she is being rigid.
Maybe you should give her some time, ma. I'm sure the suppressed Ara in her will show up soon once she is comfortable."
'I hope'
Ella convince her with reassuring words that could help Chandra calm down.
Though she seems skeptic as much as Chandra, Ella believe this can't be planned. Why would Luciana want to act as Ara if she isn't?
"Chandra ma, why don't you take rest before coming down for dinner?" Chandra nodded faintly.
"How about tea? Tea will help you relax. What say? A tea made by Ella" there was a command and a sweet request, Chandra couldn't say no.
"Be right back"

Dinner went on in silence with mere sound of plates and cutlery clinking. Bernardo tried to make conversation with his family members which only last for a couple of minutes and they went silent once again.
Diego played with the food on his plate. A glance at his father and a glance at Luciana, occasionally. He tried to study if these two were teamed up and so far, nothing suspicious.
He was the last to leave the dinner table that had unfinished food still on the plates. It wasn't a pleasant dinner after all, he thought at the sight of the dinning table. In fact, Diego did not fail to notice his mother's discomfort with the presence of Luciana.
He is yet to talk to his mother regarding the same.
Diego made his way to his room, his mind was scattered with the day's events. First the interrupted intervention of Demetrio Agosti's locker. Second, Ella's announcement on leaving the house the next and the climax of the day, the entry of Ara Agosti.
If Ara Agosti was some other girl, he wouldn't have got too disturbed but she being Luciana really worked him up.
How could she be Ara?
