The room allocated for her was double the size of her own. Though it is well furnished with expensive furniture and classic painting hung on walls, the warmth of her own room was missing in here.
The new environment makes her a little difficult to fall asleep despite the soft bed and comfy duvet that is tempting her to topple on it.
Ella sat on the chair by the window resting her arms on the coffee table. Her mind begin to form chains of thoughts that weren't connected to one another. She sat there in the dim atmosphere unmindful of her thoughts.
A couple of hours went by, Ella had now settled quite comfortably on the soft bed feeling tired as she remembered they had been roaming the city the entire day. As she recalled the day's activity, Ella hitched at the thought of the incident that had brought her here.
What could have happened to her if she was in the house at the time?
Then another thought popped up, 'what would have Diego done if I never turn up today?'
Her heartbeat begun to beat stronger at the thought. Ella shook her head side to side as in mentally disagreeing to whatever her mind was saying.
'Have a control Ella. You are just helping... don't fall. Don't fall, Ella' she reminded herself as she tossed and turned on the bed. Eventually, falling asleep after sometime.

As much as his legs urged him to take a diversion to the guest room, the message he read earlier stopped him. A smile slowly spread on his lips as he remembered the ominous message.
I'm just about to sleep. It's 4.30 a.m. Don't you dare wake me up. You do, I'll punch - Ella.
That message was good enough to warn him not to get into the lioness's cage or the effect would be unfavorable. What else he could do anyway?
Diego headed straight to the kitchen making a wild guess that Chandra must be there. He missed the chance to wish her first last night as it was late by the time he was back.
So, he decided to wish his dear mother on her birthday with the gift he was supposed to give her last night.
The smell of strong coffee and freshly baked Brunch Torte greeted him, signalling Chandra present in there.
"Happy birthday, ma!" He ran into the kitchen and hugged her as though he had transformed into a ten year old boy.
"Oh boy! You scared me..." Chandra return his hug and planted a kiss on his cheeks. "Thank you, Shekhar"
"Did Thiyagu called?" Diego inquired about his long lost brother, Thiyagu Sharon Moretti who lives in Turkey happily working as a photographer leaving Diego all alone to rot working for Gruppo Moretti.
"Yes, he was the first to wish me"
"Of course, that lad is always ahead of me. Turkey is being very kind to him, ma just because his is two hours ahead of us. Ask him to get back here soon, enough of being a photographer. It's time he be a businessman and help me out here" Diego growled as he sat on the counter top while his mother served breakfast for him.
"Let him be there. Thiyagu is happy in Turkey, be kind to your little brother" Chandra slapped his arms lightly. "Now stop envying about your brother and have your breakfast"
"You have a brother and I didn't know about it?" Ella's voice cause Diego to almost drop his plate on the floor.
"You!" he said before briefly looking at the survived plate balancing on his hand. "Why don't you make some noise when you are coming?" he asked.
