Life has been pretty good for Diego Shekhar Moretti, an Indian Italian businessman until he had to leave the lifeless man to safe his own life and to fulfill the last promise he made to the man, his godfather, Demetrio Agosti.
A promise to find his...
Diego and Thiyagu rushed to the spot immediately after getting a call from the police in charge. Upon arriving at the accident spot, he went white as chalk. His eyes and mouth were frozen wide open in an expression of stunned—shocked. The condition of the car was terrible he could barely imagine what would have Luciana endured.
Thiyagu could barely think as he too stared blankly at the wrecked car. He remembered Ella's call sometime ago, "Hey, tell your brother that Luciana has gone out alone taking the car I'm supposed to use......" He shrieked at the replay of the conversation.
He looked around again as if he had just realised where he is. "This road leads to both the companies... Does that mean... No, no. That can't be" he brush off the thought and joined Diego who was having a conversation with the police officer.
They were informed that Luciana had died on the spot and they had taken her to the hospital for autopsy. Along with that the police officer informed, the passer-by have given witness statements. It seems the truck had purposely knocked the car in high speed causing the car to tumble to the other side of the road and sped off.
A hit and run case.
Upon hearing the statements, Thiyagu felt a thud within. 'Was this indeed planned for El?' He immediately grabbed his head in both his hands and sat on the side of the road.
The sudden throbbing pain in his head did not help him think. Day by day he seem to find more reason to doubt on his father. Why will dad do such a thing? he thought.
"Hey, you okay?" Diego asked, dully.
"Yeah... Let's go, there is no point waiting here. I need to discuss with you on this new thing popping in my head" he stood up and brushed the back of his pants.
A discussion that never happened due to Thiyagu's unplanned meet up with a friend.

Luciana's death was an absolute shock to everyone in the Moretti House. They hardly communicated with each other in the span of the last thirty-five hours.
Chandra remain unaffected by the news of Luciana's demise however, she felt sorry for the girl to have lost her life in such a horrifying way. She questioned none about the accident to her sons' after observing each one were drowning in their own world of thoughts.
While Thiyagu's doubt on his father strengthen upon hearing the news, Diego and Ella had gone on their own path of guilty conscious, blaming themselves to be the reason for her death.
Thinking, the accident could have been avoided if they were a little cautious.
Ella couldn't help but blame herself for not trying a little harder to stop Luciana. Only if she had stopped her then, they wouldn't have seen this day. However, she was confused, why would they kill Luciana?
She shook her head, this must have been an accident, Ella thought as she stroll around the garden at 11:00 in the night. Sleep was nowhere to find its way to her hence, a walk in the garden, she opted.
