"Are you going keep adoring her from far" came a familiar voice that Diego could recognise even in his sleep "Or will you at least tell her about your feelings?" The man in his early twenties asked.

"What do you want?" Diego sighed, annoyed at the sight of the young man.

"Nothing. I'm here to tell you that it is better if you at least start showing her, you have a thing for her before a charmer like me" wiggles his brows, "snatches her from you"

Diego stared long at the man and spoke, "For your information, I have been thinking about it for some time now" he finished his drink in a gulp, "and after what happened today, I'm not planning to prolong it any longer"

"You have been saying that many times. I hope I see progress" the young gave a light squeeze on Diego's shoulder and left him.

The morning incident had really gave Diego a reality hit. Adrenaline shot through him, what if something unexpected happen and he looses Ella forever.

It terrified him. He shook his head brushing the thought away.

No, he won't be able to take the lost. She has been always a part of his life, knowingly and unknowingly. Without her, without Ella, Diego couldn't simply imagine his life.

Whatever may come, Diego was determine to always be there for her.

Not just as a friend.

And no longer is he going to deny his affection for her.

Diego focused back to Ella and to his surprise the young lad that was talking to him a few minutes ago, was approaching her.

He wanted nothing but to take Ella away from having a conversation with the man but of no avail.

He was summoned by his father.

"Rich parties are boring, isn't it?" the unexpected whispering made her jump out of her skin.

"Excuse me?" Ella asked, making sure the question was for her and tried to recollect her memory if she knew him.

"Don't tell me, you don't remember me, El?" gasped the young lad placing a hand on his chest, pretending to be hurt.

She tried harder to recall any meeting with this particular person but none she could recollect.

"I don't think we have met before"

"Oh my god! Seriously, El? We just spoke like a week ago.

Video call ...

Diego's dear brother ..."

That ringed a bell.

"Oh, yes. Thiyagu. Now I remember your vaguely familiar voice"

"Hmm...

I never expected you would forget me that soon" Thiyagu sniffled, faking his cry.

"Oh, signore. You were all covered up the time we had our first and last video call. With the huge hat and the sunglasses. I barely could see your face that day. Stop over reacting" she slapped his arm.

"Okay, okay. But wait. Let me take a step back.

Wow! You look gorgeously gorgeous compared to how I saw you in the video call."

"Well, thank you" she bowed a little.

"So, when did you came here?

"Afternoon.

I sneaked into the house to surprise mom" he said with complete excitement.

"That's nice. An early surprise for her. And how did I not see you in the afternoon?"
