A Year and a month later.....

I moved to New York with some family and someone pulled some strings and I'm a medical assistant with a studio apartment.. I had yet another miscarriage but the doctors are basically saying there's nothing with me producing. it just looks like it's not my time it was best not to have one by him anyway.

I cut off all communication from him even changed my number. I was headed off to work low key ready to get the day over with. I just felt someone was going to be on that bullshit today.

I'm trying to come out my shell some , I haven't dated anybody still but I am talking to someone and he's so sweet. The only problem is I need someone to yell at me to have some edge. He's so sweet I'm scared I'm going to break his heart.

I walked in greeting everyone me and tori still have an unbreakable bond and she had her baby which was a baby boy named after sterling.

My friend I made at the doctors office named Alexis hugged me. "Girl your patient is waiting for you in room 3 and your mans brought you these" she said handing me a bouquet of roses.

"He is not my mans" I said smiling at the flowers and the note with it. "You right because there's this fine ass man waiting on you in room 3 and I think you need to hop on that" Alexis said as I giggled.

"Girl bye" I said laughing and calling my little friend to thank him for the flowers. I walked into the room giggling some and placing the roses on the counter.

"Those are beautiful they from your boyfriend?" The man asked as I smiled then turned around and it dropped. 

I walked out the room and seen Alexis in the front office giving people doctors excuses. "Hey girl you can take my place" I said smiling as she jumped up.

"Thanks" she said "go shoot your shot sis" I said walking in front of her back to room three.

"Yes miss Alexis will be checking your weight and vitals, have a terrible I meant wonderful day" I said rolling my eyes from Erik.

"Wow, But you forgot your roses" he added as I glared at him and got my roses before walking out.

I went to the office handing people doctors notes and kids lollipop and stickers. I was writing something down as someone cleared their throat but I didn't look up.

"What Doctor did you see today?" I asked smiling then looked up and my smile dropped. "What?" I asked him "I need a doctors note a sticker and a lollipop" he said.

"And for what?" I asked, "bye miss Y/N" one of the little kids said as I smiled "bye baby I hope you feel better and when you do you can have this" I said to the little girl handing her a lollipop as she faintly smiled and her mom smiled at me then thanked me walking away.

Erik smiles at me "you know your way with kids huh?" He asked as I rolled my eyes. "Yes now what do you want?" I asked looking at him and his hair.

"I'm here for a doctors note" he said smirking "I'm sorry for what?" I asked. "To give one to Wakanda for why I was absent" he said as I rolled my eyes grabbing a stack of papers walking in the file room as he followed.

"Erik why are you here?" I asked "I gave you a year now it's time to come back" he said as I let a laugh out. "I'm good what I need to come back with you for?" I asked placing the papers where they needed to be.

"Because I said you were kidnapped and I was going to find you and now I did so here we are" he stated.

"And for what reason did you say I was kidnapped?" I asked "because I wanted to stay king when you left and I had to say something to disrupt the wedding since you left" he explained.

"I see you still on that bullshit" I simply said as he grabbed my arm slightly and I looked at him.

"Erik no you were worried about yourself still is why don't you just leave me alone I got shit going on and now you want to magically pop back up no" I stated.

"Plus your ass ain't even supposed to be out here and you know why with your illegal ass" I said finishing my work as he sighed.

"Do you need a ride home?" He asked "no that's what Metro is for" I said smiling. "What time you get off?" He asked as I sighed. "5:30" I said "can I take you out tonight?" He asked as I shook my head.

"I got plans with someone tonight" I said "can I at least see my child?" He asked "Erik I had a miscarriage" I said looking at him.

"And you ain't think to tell me?" He asked "no like I said before I left I'm doing me" I said about to walk away until he backed me up into a counter and kissed my lips as I kissed back after a while. He took the stack of papers out my hand and placed me on the counter kissing my lips. Our lips moved in sync as my hands were on his chest.

"Y/N" I heard as I jumped and pulled my lips from Erik's "girl you know he ain't supposed to be back here" jasmine whispered as she giggled walking away. I got off the counter as he smirked.

"I need that doctors note" he said smirking as I nodded and walked in front of him to the office as the doctors note printed out.

I gave him the doctors note "and a sticker and lollipop" he said as I gave him a little smile giving him what he wanted.

"I want the black panther sticker" he said as I looked at him then gave it to him.
"Can you place it like right here" he said pointing to his right side of his chest area as he was opening up his lollipop.

"I'm working and this is inappropriate" I stated. "You were just in the back about to get fucked and you want to talk about what's inappropriate?" He asked as I peeled the sticker and slapped it on his chest before going back in the office dealing with records and things of that nature til 5:30 finally hit and I grabbed my purse going out the door as I seen a black ranger over just sitting there and I automatically knew who it was.

I walked towards it as he unlocked the doors but I told him to let down his window.

"You really stayed here since 10 something this morning?" I asked "yeah I got some food around at like 2 and I'm starving" he said as I giggled shaking my head.

"Bye Erik" I said shaking my head giggling and walking away as he called my name and I turned.
