I woke up to someone repeatedly kicking the side of the bed I was on. I looked up confused looking at Y/N "get that ass up" she said as my eyes were still scrunched then I groaned.

"The fuck? For what?!" I asked turning in my bed. "Your cousin is alive and wants to talk to you" she simply said as I groaned and placed my face back in the pillow going back to sleep.

I then felt water being splashed on my body making me jump up. "The fuck is your problem?!" I asked looking at her like she was crazy.

"I just want to talk" I heard T'Challa say as he stood next to Y/N. "Get ready and dressed and meet us in the throne room" T'Challa said.

"Us? Who is us?" I questioned "the elders" Y/N simply said as T'Challa walked out. "Don't think you're going to get away with throwing water on me" I said as I watched her go into my bathroom and come back to throw water on me again.

"Oops just did" she said "what's the problem Y/N?" I asked calmly "you want to be king but yet acting out of control because I said what I said to you" she explained.

"Why do you care if I act out or not, you're here right?" I asked "and why do you care if I talk to sterling or not?!" She questioned.

"Whatever and if he fuck you over don't come crying to me" I said getting up. "Fuck you Erik" she simply said walking out as I chuckled. She can talk to another nigga but not me? I got dressed

Then walked out the room going downstairs seeing Y/N dressed talking to tori as I looked at her up and down and she did it back before rolling her eyes and continuing her conversation with Tori.

I walked into the throne room sitting at the throne. "Talk" I simply said " my king you won the competition and you are entitled to the king position because you are of royalty" T'Challa started.

"So what are we all here for?" I asked "you can be king but your act has to change and you need a Queen" one of the elders said.

"As in a wife?" I asked "duh" Shuri said rolling her eyes. "Where am I going to find a queen?" I asked "she is right outside them doors somewhere it is either a queen or you cannot be king" my aunt said as I sighed.

"How much time do I have to get married?" I asked "in a year" one of the elders said as I sighed "how am I going to marry someone in a year?" I asked.

"It is that or step down from being king" T'Challa said as I rolled my eyes "and change of your attitude and look, if you want to be the face of Wakanda" T'Challa explained.

"Okay" I simply said getting up and walking out the throne room looking for Y/N. I finally found her but looked at her outfit which in way she was dressing like me.

"Y/N let me talk to you right quick" I said as I grabbed her arm softly as she walked with me.

"I need to marry someone within a year or I can't be king anymore" I explained as she looked at me "okay? What does that have to do with me?!" She asked confused.

"Can I marry you?" I asked as she laughed " boy bye" she said about to walk away " if I'm not king there's a possibility you will not be welcomed here anymore and we'll be arrested" I explained as she turned around.

"Erik you know how I feel there's like how many woman out here?" Y/N stated "you have a whole year to meet someone anybody will fall for you, just not me" she said in a laugh about to walk away but I stopped her.

"Y/N I'm dead ass I need your help I brought you down here the least you can do is help me out" I said in all seriousness as she sighed and looked at me.

"Erik if I do this you better remember this ain't no relationship it's a partnership" she said "you never know we might turn it into more than a partnership" I said smirking as we heard sterling calling
Y/N's name.

She looked up at me "we'll talk about it later you got things to do and I'm about to go out to eat with steelo" she explained as I looked at him walking up and we dapped up.

"I don't have anything to do in fact I'm starving myself let's all go" I said smiling at Y/N as she just glared at me.

We headed to a restaurant and we sat at a booth. I made sure I sat next to Y/B while steelo and tori sat on the other side.

"So you from Oakland too huh?" Steelo asked Y/N as she nodded "yeah" she said as my hand found its way to her thigh she looked over at me and glared.

"What drinks can I start you all with?" The waiter asked "please give me the strongest drink y'all have" Y/N said shaking her head and pushing my hand away.

"I will take a water" I said "sprite" tori said "I will have what she's having" steelo said nodding his head towards Y/N and smiled at her. I glared at him and I guess Y/N noticed because she wanted to talk to me privately.

"Can I talk to you real quick?" She asked as we got up going by the bathrooms in the back of the restaurant where nobody seen us.

"Erik keep your fucking hands to yourself" she said "how are you going to let him take you out on a date?!" I asked "it's not a date if you and tori is here" she explained.

"It was one until I said tori and I were coming" I stated as she sighed and pinched the bridge of her nose. "Bottom line is mind your business I'm not getting with him, I don't want him and I will never be with him he's not my type and I just want to be alone" she simply said rolling her eyes.

"Well why aren't you mean to him like you are to me?" I asked out of curiosity. "What are we 10? " she asked "no because there's obviously a reason behind it." I said shrugging some.

"Because you're irritating , bringing two random ass bitches into the palace trying to fuck them then would've been upset if they trapped your stupid ass" she said going off as I just smirked.

"So you're jealous?" I asked as she looked at me "hell no, I've had better dick  anyway" she said before walking away as I just smirked at her walking off.
