Funeral was yesterday Y/N was glued to me the whole day due to mourning but I had no problem today Y/N and I were going back out to oakland to meet someone who supposedly knows me too be honest I just want the bullshit to stop and them to leave us alone.

I was getting the baby things together while Y/N was getting sterling together she looked nice

her hair was in long bouncy curls she had on makeup but not over doing it only thing missing was my necklace and earrings I bought her.

"You're missing something" I said as she turned around "huh?" She asked as I game up to her.

"No I'm waiting till the party to wear that this is just plain dress" she explained smiling and finished getting sterling ready. She picked him up as I got the bag.

"Why you all dressed up anyway?" I asked "your aunt said we need to start looking presentable and I got this" she said looking down at her outfit. "You look pretty" I said as she smiled "thanks sterling already told me"she said kissing his cheek.

We headed downstairs "AUNTIE WE OUT!" I yelled hopefully she heard me in this big ass palace.

"Ooo let me see you two before you walk out" we heard her as I looked down at my outfit and shrugged . I had on a hoodie some jeans and a pair of red and black retro 12's on Who I needed to impress?

Y/N looked at me up and down "shit you know we about to get it" She stated as I chuckled "why you always got to be the one not listening" she complained as I chuckled and my aunt smiled at Y/N then it dropped when she seen me.

"Erik where's the suit that was picked out?" She asked "auntie why do I have to wear a suit to go out to oakland you know how people I know out there?" I asked as Y/N giggled.

"I am glad you listen Y/N I do not know what to do with Erik" she stated as Y/N laughed " I don't know what to do with him either but I'm sure he will be wearing a suit for tomorrow night" Y/N stated as I looked at her and shook my head "Nu-Uh" I stated as Y/N kept a smile on her face.

"If it is MY party why do I have to wear a suit?" I asked "oh for bast sakes bye you two" my aunt said as I smiled and walked out the double doors with Y/N following me.

"You Do know you are wearing that suit tomorrow right?" She asked "yeah I'm not" I stated as Y/N shrugged we soon made it to Oakland and decided to met the person at a low file place like Applebee's to talk.

Y/N and I sat next to each other as sterling was in a high chair next to Y/N placing with the buttons on his Jean jacket.

"You nervous?" She asked as I just shook my head and shrugged making her smack her lips "stop being nonchalant about it she might be your mother" Y/N stated as I stuck my tongue out at her making her laugh.

"So damn childish" she said snatching my hood off my head as I chuckled. "Stop, my head cold now" I said poking her side making her jump and laugh.

"Stop" she said grabbing my hands "you going to stop?" I asked as she nodded giggling as I smiled and placed my hood back on but she snatched it back off as I started tickling her she was laughing into my arm trying to move my hands but I wasn't budging.

Someone cleared their throat softly as we stopped and looked up. "N'Jadaka?" The woman said as I just looked at her.

"How do you know me?" I asked "I'm your mother" she said as I squinted my eyes. "Son of N'jobo" she said just starring at me as I stared back.

She sat down as I glared at her "so why you decide on now getting in contact with me?!" I asked "Erik" Y/N whispered "no he's right" she stated.

"My father died and you was no where to be found I grew up on my own taking care of myself when I had a mother who could've taken care of me, what do you want now I'm grown" I stated as she nodded.

"I've been trying to get in contact with you forever I've been trying since your father passed but there were no signs of you in foster care so I thought maybe you were in Wakanda safe, Wakanda was a closed off country at the time and I wasn't abled to get in contact with you" She explained.

"Why weren't you there at all before my father died?" I asked with my arms crossed. "His ambition to take over Wakanda was so much and he didn't love me like when we first got together we had you and he wanted to keep you from me I fought it but he wouldn't let me especially if he took you too Wakanda I could never get in there" she explained.

"So you just left?" I questioned as she nodded "there was nothing else I could do, I'm sorry" she apologized.

"Mhm" I said before drinking some of my drink. "Is this my grandson and my daughter in law?" She asked smiling as I just looked at her.

"Well is his friend" Y/N started off "and that's my Godson" I said with my arms crossed still.

"What's your name?" She asked Y/N as
Y/N spoke "its Y/N" she said smiling "mines is Tiffany nice to meet you" she said back shaking hands.

I rolled my eyes and looked away looking at the game on the tv "would you excuse me I have to go to the ladies room" Tiffany said getting up and going. "Hey" Y/N said lightly nudging me as I looked over at her.

"She's trying Erik" Y/N stated as I shook my head and looked back at the screen but Y/N grabbed my chin turning my face.

"Invite to your party tomorrow you never know what this can be for you and her" she said before pecking my lips as I looked at her.

"If I invite her then can we talk about us seriously?" I asked as Y/N nodded and I faintly smiled.

Tiffany sat back down in front of us as her and Y/N we're talking. "Would you want to come back with us to Wakanda?" I asked her as she gave us an iffy look. "Are you sure?" She asked "yes your son is having a party tomorrow for being the new king and it would be nice if you showed up" Y/N explained as Tiffany nodded.

I gave her a faint smile and we finished our dinner.
