Spock

You worked at a pet shelter and loved it. You loved animals and the people you worked with were awesome. Except your boss, Gray. He was a DB who always hit on you but whatever. You just hoped your brother never found out about him because he would be in jail and you would be jobless. Your brother was the one and only Leonard McCoy or as everybody called him Bones. Yeah you were a McCoy. (y/n) McCoy to be exact. But anyway, your brother was in space so you didn't have to worry about it.

Until one day your brother came home and decided to pay you a visit.

"(y/n)!" You turn from the puppy you were playing with to find Leonard and two of his friends walking toward you. "Leo!" You squeal running at him and engulfing him in a hug. "Hi!" You greet. "Hey." Says the blonde, blued man to your left. "Jim, no. This is my sister so hands off." Bones warns. He releases you and introduces you to his friends. "(y/n), this is Jim Kirk and this is Spock. Guys this is my sister, (y/n) McCoy." The one who tried to flirt with you was Jim and Spock had an... interesting appearance. He had stick straight, nerdy hair and his eyebrows curved up slightly. But he was handsome. "Hi." You say, sticking your hand out toward Spock. He looked at it confused and you pulled it back to your side, blushing with embarrassment and fearing that you had disrespected him. "Spock, she was trying to shake your hand not make out with you." Jim groaned. "What?" You asked, feeling rather stupid. "(y/n), Spock is from planet Vulcan and on Vulcan-" Leo began but you cut him off. "Oh right! You guys kiss with your hands... Sorry sir I should have known that." You apologize, remembering the report you did on Vulcan as a child. "It is quite all right miss McCoy and this is no need to call me sir." Spock said, making you feel even more stupid for calling him sir. "I have work right now, but I walked here so if you can pick me up at 8 that would be awesome." You offer with your best smile. "Alright lazy, 8 it is." You brother mocked. You laugh and roll your eyes. "We'll take you to a bar and later I'll show you a good time!" Jim called out as they walked away. "In your dreams Jim Kirk!" You called back, laughing again when you saw Leo punch Jim's shoulder.

At 7:49 you walk to your locker, grabbed your stuff and headed for the front door but your boss stopped you. "Hello (y/n). I see we haven't had any adoptions for the past few weeks." He said gruffly. Gray was... well, the name fit him. He had dull brown hair that was cut in a dull office worker hair cut. His eyes were a dull blueish color. "Sorry sir." You mumbled, looking down at your hands. "I also saw you leave your post earlier." Gray growled. "Sorry sir, my brother came home and deiced to visit me at work." You murmur, smiling at the thought of seeing your brother. "I'm not mad beautiful. Well I am. But you make make it all better." He grinned. You looked up at him. "A-and how can I do that sir." You say. "Kiss me." Gray demands leaning in. You fake laugh nervously. "Just do it baby." Your boss smirked. You screamed and ran for the exit. You made it down the stairs before Gray caught you around the waist and slammed you against the wall. "Come on." He taunted, pressing his lips ruffly against. You squirmed under his grip. "Just go with it." He mumbled against your lips. A sob escaped you and oh of a sudden Gray is pulled away from you. You look up to find Spock. He punches Gray and Gray falls to the ground. "Who the hell are you?!" Gray barked but Spock kicked him in the gut and started punching him everywhere. You hated fighting but Gray dissevered it so you didn't try to stop Spock. Instead you slid to the ground, brought your knees to your head and covered your ears, but you could still hear Jim when he walked in and yelled. "Spock! What the hell are you doing?" And Leo when he yelled. "What were you doing to my sister?!" Jim goes to pull Spock off of Gray, while Leo goes to comfort you. The next thing you know, all three men are gathered around you. You lift your head away from your knees and looked at all of them. "(y/n)... What was he trying to do to you?' Leo asked gently, wiping away the tears that you didn't realize were there. You just shook your head and let more tears fall down your face. Leo pulled you into his lap, the way he used to do when you guys were you were little and scared. "Doctor. McCoy, I do not believe (y/n) would like to talk about it and I can understand why." Spock spoke. "Why?" That was Jim. You looked up at Spock, silently pleading for him not to tell Bones and Jim. Spock gave Jim a look that said 'tell you later'.

Later you fell asleep on your brother's car on the way home. You were letting Bones, Spock and Jim (the dream team) stay at your house since Bones live about 2 hours away. The cops had been called and Gray was arrested. Leo had been against you working there but you had managed to talk into letting you stay there.

When you got to your house, Spock offered to take you up to your room. "First door on the right upstairs." Bones grumbled and Spock carried you up. You stayed asleep while Spock removed your shoes and coat and tucked you in, but you woke up when he kissed your forehead and whispered in your ear. "I won't let anyone hurt you like that ever again." He was about to leave when your eyes fluttered open. "Spock? Stay?" You asked hopefully. Spock turned and looked at you. "Yes. I will stay." He agreed. You smiled and moved over. Spock took off his shoes and climbed in next to you. You leaned your body on him and fell asleep. You woke up once, reliving the memory in your dreams but Spock calmed you down by rubbing small circles in your back. It was a pretty great start to the best and strangest relationship of your life.

But anyway needless to say that, while Jim found it funny, Leo was not amused by finding you and Spock snuggled up in the morning...
