Okay, I might have lied about the order
-----------
There was time when I was alone

No where to go and no place to call home

You weren't in a good spot. You were facing eviction from your apartment because you couldn't pay rent. You couldn't get a job. You didn't have anything.

My only friend was the man in the moon

And even sometimes he would go away to

Not even family or friends. Your family cut you off years ago, your friends along with them.
Just because you fell down a hole.

Then one night as I closed my eyes
I saw a shadow flying high

One night you were out job hunting, with no luck. To keep yourself entertained for the long trip back to what used to be your home, you thought about what ally you wanted to live in and what type of box would be best. Behind you there was a whirring sound. You turned around. And lo behold was a blue box.

He came to me with the sweetest smile

Said he wanted to talk for a while

"Peter Pan, that's what they call me"

"I promise that you'll never be lonely"

"Ah, hello! You must be (y/n)!" A man steeped out of the box. His hair was gelled to perfection but still parts of it stuck up in the back. His brown trench covered a matching brown suit.
You stared at him and nodded.
"Who are you?" You asked timidly.
Who was he?
A stalker?
A killer?
A kidnapper?
His big brown eyes seemed to smile even wider than his mouth.
"I'm the Doctor. I'm here to save you from... well, loneliness. I've been watching you for a while and I've seen what you've been through.""
You tilted your head. "Yeah...?"
"I want to take you away from this. I what you to come with me. Can see the stars and the universe, everywhere in space and time."
Was he insane?
Or were you insane...?
Either way worked for you.

You nodded and excepted his outstretched hand.

And ever since that day

I am a lost boy from Neverland

Usually hanging out with Peter Pan

And when we're bored we play in the woods

Always on the run from Captain Hook

Run, run, run Lost Boy

They say to me

Away from all of reality

Neverland is home to lost boys like me

And lost boys like me are free

He sprinkled me in a pixie dust and told me to believe

Believe in him and believe in me

Together we will fly away in a cloud of green

To your beautiful destiny

He lead you inside his blue box. Your jaw dropped. "This is... amazing!" You gasped, turning 360 degrees. The Doctor laughed. "Yeah, she really is."
"She?" You asked, eyes still wide.
"Of course, where do you want to go first? The moon, Mars, KarimlooBoggess-"
You cut him off, chuckling. "Where do I want to go? Well, I've got no idea how to say that last... place. But you said anywhere in space and time, right? Well, then New York, 1988." He looked at you with the strangest look. "Alright then."

As we flew above the town that never
loved me,

I realized

I'd finally had a family

Soon enough,

We reached Neverland

Peacefully

My feet hit the sand

The blue box whirred and shook as you were tossed on your back.
Then the banging stopped. The Doctor laughed and helped you to your feet.
"New York, 1986!" He grinned. You stepped out side. You were really there. The Doctor stepped out behind you and slang an arm on your shoulder. "Look at that, we landed outside of Broadway! Let's go see what's playing."
You looked up the man, and for the first in a very, very long time, you smiled, a real smile.

Peter Pan

Tinkerbell

Wendy Darling

Even Captain Hook

You are my perfect storybook

You had a friend. Someone who cared about you. Someone who was making an effort.

Neverland I love you so
You are now my home sweet home
Forever a lost boy at last.

The TARDIS was your home
The Doctor was your family

And for always I will sing

I am a lost boy
From Neverland
Usually hanging out with Peter Pan
And when we're bored we play in the woods
Always on the run from Captain Hook
Run, run lost boy
They say to me
Away from all of reality
Neverland is home to lost boys like me

And lost boys like me are
Free
