Chapter 33: Vaivata

"Its good that you arrived early." Salubong sa amin ni Ms. Tanya.

"Ano po bang nangyari?" Aegeus asked.

"For the past days, everything was going okay in SEA. But later on, a special task force was sent for a mission. They failed and what's worse is when they came back, only 2 of them were able to go here and the 3 of them were kidnapped." Huminto siya saglit atsaka binuklat ang mga files na hawak niya. Ibinigay niya sa amin ang folder na naglalaman umano ng mga impormasyon tungkol sa tatlong spies na nakidnap.

Ito ang mga nakasaad sa files. Halos kasing edad lang namin sila. Pero bakit sila nakidnap?

"But did you find anything?" Harley said.

"Yes but unfortunately, the information is limited. Like there's someone or something blocking it. Anyway, we found out the reason behind all of this." She paused for a second and continue speaking. "Kinikidnap nila ang mga spy at pinageeksperimentuhan nila. Hindi lang simpleng kidnappers, they knew our organization. They are experimenting them because of their advanced abilities at ginagamit nila yun sa mga machines nila. You know, to be the greatest inventors of the world?"

Sa ganoon lamang na dahilan ay gagawin nila ang mga karumal-dumal na gawaing ito? Sabagay, ang pag-iisip nga naman ng mga sakim. Naaawa at nalulungkot ako para sa mga nakidnap na spy.

"Because of this reason, your group and other special task forces will do this mission. All SEA agents including us will also join you. Hindi lamang SEA ang nakataya dito. Nakataya din ang buong mundo. We can't let them rule our world. We can't let them make more damage. That's why, starting this day, we will prepare and start for this mission. Understand?"

She said with full sincerity na para bang kami ang pag-asa ng misyon na 'to.

Pagkasabi noon ni Master Earl ay naghiwa-hiwalay na kami ng path. Sa mga ganitong panahon na mahaba ang nagiging speech ni Master, parang laging nakakapangkalma. He is indeed a good master.
