I had a blast with Kehlani today. We went walking in the park, we went to Starbucks, we talked about work and music, and went roller skating.
This was the best day of my life so far. Sadly, it has to end.
When she dropped me off at home she walked me to my door.
Kehlani: "Had fun today?"
"Yes, I did. Thank you so much, Keh."
Kehlani: "The pleasure's all mine. I couldn't stand to see you upset."
"You're really good to me."
Kehlani: "That's good news coming from you."
"Good, because it's true."
We both smiled at each other for a few seconds.
When I grabbed my keys from my pocket, she leaned in and kissed me.
I found her lips soft and glossy. Her chapstick tasted like watermelons.
She pulled away and I couldn't help but grin and look down at my feet.
Kehlani: "Are you okay?" She said laughing
"Yeah, I'm fine. It was just unexpected. That's all."
Kehlani: "I'm sorry. I'll warn you next time."
"Its okay. I liked it. Your lips taste good... oh, god.... did that sound weird?"
Kehlani: "Nah, it's okay. I'm flattered."
"Oh, thank goodness."
Kehlani: "I'm gonna let you head inside, okay?"
"Okay. Get home safe."
Kehlani: "I will. Get some rest."
"I promise."
I got into the house and settled in as Kehlani drove off.
I got in the house and closed the door.
I set my jacket on the coat rack and made my way to the living room.
I jumped into my pajamas and relaxed. I was pretty comfy.

I went into the fridge and got some snacks.
I got settled in the house and pulled up Netflix while cuddled up with Batman and Ella.
10 minutes into CSI, my phone rang.
I picked it up and saw Olivia's name flash across my screen.
*on the phone*
D: "Hello?"
O: "Hey... A-are you busy?"
D: "Just watching CSI. What's wrong?"
O: "Oh. I'm sorry to interrupt."
D: "It's cool. Everything okay?"
O: "I'm having a really tough time right now."
D: "Is it Nick again?"
O: "Sadly, yes."
D: "Wanna come and have a GNI?"
O: "What's a GNI?"
D: "Girls Night In."
O: "Sounds good. I'm on my way."
D: "Good. Now, hurry up before I eat all the ice cream." I joked
She chuckled on the other side of the phone and we hung up.
Some time passed and I heard a knock at the door.
I walked over and opened the door.
Olivia: "Hey. I have arrived."
"Good. Come on in. I'll take your bag for you. Just come in and get settled."
Olivia: "Okay. Oh, my gosh. Puppies!"
Ella and Batman came running towards her. They licked all over her face.
"Aww. They like you." I chuckled.
I put her bag down and we got settled in.
Olivia: "This is nice. Once again, thank you and I'm sorry. I was caught up in having someone like me and it made me say cruel things before I got to know you."
"It's fine. We're good. I know Nick got inside your head. He got inside of mine, too. He manipulated me as well."
Olivia: "Are you sure? I feel like I played a part in it."
"You did, but now you apologized. It's fine."
Olivia: "Okay. Just checking."
"Good. What flavor ice cream do you want?"
Olivia: "Strawberry."
I got the ice cream and we watched movies and talked about work and love. We just chilled for the night. She's not as bad as I thought.
