It was weeks after Wolfie's conversation with River that the Alpha made a startling discovery.

He had allowed Danny's friends to stay at their house, but he had the feeling that the Omega wasn't being totally honest with him. Other than that, everything was going smoothly... Well, except for that Gage kid.

There was something that he didn't like about him but he just couldn't put his finger on it.

Anyway, he found out that his parents had tried having him mentally assessed by one of their own Doctors who they claimed to be impartial and that the judge overseeing the case was leaning towards agreeing.

If that happened then things would become significantly harder for him to plead his case.

If he suggested one of his own Doctors, his parents would argue that the Doctor couldn't remain impartial. So in the end, they would be at a temporary  standstill.

So, the only option left for him was to approach the judge and have him look for the best Psychologists nearest to their location and have him assessed by them.

The only downside to that was that his parents would also need to know the person's identity and they could end up bribing him.

So yeah, that was the better solution but it came with its downsides and he would have to just go with the flow because he had no other remaining option.

This case was slowly but surely becoming a pain in the arse for him.

He couldn't help but sigh softly. He leaned back in his office chair and massaged his temple as the sound of yelling was heard along with splashing.

Danny and his friends were having some sort of Pool party and were making a whole load of noise, disrupting his work.

He loathed that today was Saturday and that he couldn't even spend some time inside, relaxing with Danny.

Oh, he had nothing against his friends, but together, they were loud.

The pretty one, Natalia wasn't there as she had some babysitting job to do, but the other two more than made up for her absence.

Who would've thought that the petite, Asian girl was loud?

And he wasn't even being stereotypical when he said that. The girl was so fucking tiny that no one would think that she had such lungs on her.

He just hoped that Danny wouldn't injure himself as this stage of the pregnancy was rather delicate.

Hmmm.

Next week for him consisted of court cases and he could already predict the incoming migraines at the end of them.

For some reason, he just believed that the cases wouldn't be cut and dry as he hoped. In the past, he wouldn't much mind, but with this upcoming case against him, he needed to take advantage of his resources to build a strong defence and he couldn't exactly do that when said resources were scattered about trying to build strong defences and Offences for pre-existing cases.

Lord, fuck him,

He knew that the world didn't cater to everyone but throw him a fucking bone.

He was being overloaded by cases when the most important one still haven't been carefully analysed.

So with a loud sigh, he got up off the chair and stretched his aching muscles out, not even shifting as he heard his bones pop.

"Ahhhh," he moaned sofly. The feeling of taking a good stretch was second only to sex with Danny.
