Summary: Three best friends get caught under the mistletoe
Corbyn's POV
Three extremely excited 7 year olds raced into Corbyn's house, quickly taking off their shoes." Hey boys, what's got you three so excited?" Rebecca, the oldest's babysitter asked. Three pairs of eyes landed on her, all bright with happiness." Mommy said we could write our letters to Santa today!" The blonde boy explained." Uh huh and I'm going to ask for everything!" Zach explained, his face split with a huge grin." Ooo! I have an idea, let's race to Bean's room." Jack said, the other two nodding in agreement." Okay, just be careful. You know how your mom is about you running in the house, Corbs." The chestnut blonde warned." I swear we won't break a thing." He promised, crossing his heart with his fingers." Alright, then on your marks, get set... go!" The older woman couldn't help, but laugh as they booked it up the steps. Zach, being the shortest was slightly behind Corbyn and Jack, the two older boys being the same height." I win!" The curly-haired brunette sang as he jumped onto one of his best friend's bean bags." Not fair! I have shorter legs than you two." The drown-eyed youngest pouted, plopping down in one of the circular sacks beside the older." Don't be a sore loser, Zachy." Corbyn giggled, walking over to his desk to get three pieces of paper and pencils. He sat in the last available bean bag and handed out the materials. Jack stretched his arm back, reaching for his book bag. Grabbing something hard for each of the them to write on when it was in his lap.~ Time Skip ~
" Done." The second oldest informed, dropping his pencil." Finished." Corbyn added, quickly scanning over his work." Me, too." Zach agreed, snuggling into the bean bag. Somehow, all three boys had ended up in the same chair, cuddling with each other, but none really minded." I think my mommy let us some envelopes." The blue pooled blonde explained, before getting up and looking for them." Jacky, what's an envelope?" The shorter brunette questioned, laying his head in the curly-haired boy's lap. Looking up at him with big eyes." The things you put letters in." He explained simply, playing with his younger best friend's dark brown locks." Found them!" Corbyn called, walking over and sitting on the edge of the seat, putting Jack in the middle. The trio folded their letters, then slipped them into the square container. The middle child's nose scrunching up after he had finished licking the seal. The oldest giggled at him making the drown-eyed boy smile. A pen was passed around as each wrote North Pole on the back of the square shaped pieces of paper. There was a soft knock on the door before Rebecca opened it." Sorry to interrupt, but your parents are here." She informed." What? Nooo, I should've told my dad I wanted to spend the night." Zach pouted, arms crossing. His companions laughed at him." Awww, Zachy are you going to miss us?" Corbyn cooed, he and Jack hugging the upset boy. He buried his face into the blonde's neck, none understanding why this felt so... right. When they had finished their unnaturally long hug, the departing boys got their back packs and went downstairs. The inhibitor of the large house following, looking around in awe. Apparently his nanny had put up all their decorations while the boys wrote their notes." I'm going to tell my mom to bring me back tomorrow, so I can spend the night." Jack informed, Zach nodding." Really?! Great, we can watch movies and play games." The frost blonde jumped up and down in excitement. Once the brown-eyed duo had put on their shoes, they all hugged." Look over your heads boys." The 24 year old woman laughed, they obeyed and saw a small, green plant hanging." Mistletoe." Zach realized, all boys cheeks grew hot at the realization." So... we have to kiss?" Corbyn asked softly, looking at his feet." Y-yeah." Jack answered, playing with his fingers. The shortest of the group was the first to gain some confidence, he walked over to the older brunette. Brown eyes moving to him and going wide when lips were pressed to his. The shock wore off quickly, he kissed back softly. The peck lasted only a few seconds before both pulled away, Zach giggling as he looked down shyly. Corbyn walked over, tapping the shoulder of the short-haired brunette. He turned, meeting soft lips, the youngest smiled into it, warmth pooling in the icey-eyed boy's stomach. They pulled apart and Jack made his way closer, leaning in and pressing their lips together. When all kisses had ceased, the ternary of elementary schoolers all had bright grins and red cheeks. Soft, happy giggles filling the air. Muffled honks ruined the moment, the boys remembering their waiting parents. One quick goodbye and group hug later, they were running to their parents cars. Corbyn watching with a happy smile and sad eyes, but those left quickly as he was reminded of the sleepover they were having the next day. He waved to them, eyes shining as the back windows rolled down. Revealing his best friends returning the gesture, frozen pools followed the vehicles driving away. The blonde flinching slightly upon the feeling of his finger tips against his lips, not even noticing their movements. The kisses replaying in his mind. The young boy had no idea why his body was tingling, but he decided he liked the feeling.
