Summary: Jack and Corbyn take their son out for his first real snow day

3rd Person POV
Jack and Corbyn walked hand in hand through the snowy streets of L.A. The soft noises of awe that their son released being the only sounds that shook the still air. Snow in California was rare, so when it did finally happen, Zach had begged. He had gotten on his knees and pleaded his fathers to let him go out, since he had never seen real snow before. His parents didn't see the harm, especially considering that there wasn't really any one out. It was a ghost town. The oldest of the trio looked up at the boy, his face softening when he saw his beaming grin and sparkling eyes." Daddy, can I get down?" He asked, currently sitting on Corbyn's shoulders." No because all you're going to do is run ahead." The blonde explained." No I won't, I promise." The young brunette pouted." That's a lie and you know it." He responded, feeling Zach's chin rest on the top of his head as his son huffed." Papa, tell him to put me down. Please?" His big drown eyes fell on Jack and the shorter was quick to shake his head." Oh no, I am not settling another argument between you two. The last time I sided with you it didn't end well." The curly-haired male informed, Corbyn smirked, blue eyes falling on his husband." You know you liked it." He purred into the other's ear." Or else you wouldn't have been begging me for more." Jack's cheeks turned a soft pink at the older's words." Shut up." He muttered causing the blonde chuckle.

~ Time Skip ~

They continued their walk in silence. Corbyn glanced over to Jack when he felt him pull his hand away. The shorter was shivering and bitting his lip, hands stuffed as deep as possible into the pockets of his coat." Are you cold, my love?" He asked, voice dripping with worry." Y-yeah, b-but only a l-little." He explained, the tip of his nose and his cheeks painted a soft red." Here, take my jacket." He slipped off the black piece of clothing." N-no, then y-you'll be c-cold." Jack protested even though Corbyn was already draping it over his shoulders." I'll be fine, we're almost home anyway." He reasoned, pulling the shorter into side when he had the protective clothing zipped up." You look puffy, Papa." Zach giggled. The curly-haired brunette looked down and he was right. His lover's bubble coat was really big on him.

~ 2 Days Later ~

" Here Daddy, Papa and me made you some soup." Zach said as he entered his parents' room. Corbyn laying in the bed, he smiled at his son." Thank you, baby boy." He took the bowl from his child, the young brunette watching as he took his first sip. The bleached blonde moaned at the flavor." You helped Papa make this, love?" He asked, drinking some more." Yep, he told me it's an old family recipe. Grandma would always make it for him when he got sick." Zach explained, smiling brightly." Well, give my compliments to the chef or, chefs in this case." Corbyn chuckled, the 5 year old's head tilted in confusion." What does that mean, Daddy?" He questioned." It means that you two did a great job, I feel better already." His pools of melted chocolate lit up at the praise, the older melted at the sight. His eyes were almost identical to Jack's." Do you think you'll be better by Christmas?" He asked, the sick male nodded." Absolutely, that's still 3 days away." He promised, Zach's rosy cheeks caused his eyes to squint as he beamed at his father." I wanna kiss, Daddy." He informed." Baby, I can't. I'll get you sick." Corbyn's heart was swelling at how adorable his son was." Please, I promise I won't." He crossed his heart with his index finger." Well, since you promised, I guess I could make an exception." Zach skipped happily over to him, the faux blonde leaned down and kissed his forehead softly. The younger giggling at the contact. After that he said goodbye and went back downstairs. Jack was on the couch watching tv when his offspring returned." Did he like it?" The curly-haired adult asked, the shorter brunette climbed onto his lap." Uh huh, he said he was feeling better already." Zach nuzzled into his chest, Jack's arms wrapping around him, before he pulled the blanket over them. The smaller boy yawned as he buried his face into the crook of his parent's neck." Taking care of Daddy is hard work." He mumbled, his eye lids becoming heavy. Jack chuckled and kissed the crown of his head, feeling Zach smile against his neck." Goodnight, Papa." He whispered." Goodnight, love. Sweet dreams."
