Summary: Jack broke his ukulele" Jack! What the hell?! You broke it!" Daniel shouted, face red with anger. The younger looked away in a mix of guilt and embarrassment. The older had his ruined ukalale in his hands, the neck broken in two.
" I-it was an accident," he mumbled, playing with his fingers." Bull. Shit. How do you accidentally snap an instrument?!" He growled, glaring at the permed pop-star.
" I-I didn't me-an it. I-I... I just y-you to p-pay at-attention to me. You've been up here all day a-and...", he trailed off as tears filled his eyes, biting his lip.
Daniel sighed heavily, breaking at the sight of his tears." Don't cry, baby. Come here," he opened his arms and Jack fell against him, crying into his shoulder.
" I'm sorry. I love you," he sobbed. Daniel looked to the small, broken instrument and shook his head. Jack was more important.
" I know. I forgive you. I love you, too," he kissed the crown of his head. Rubbing his lower back," stop crying. I'm not mad." He ran his fingers through his curls.
" I'll get you another one, I promise." Jack sniffed, heated face nuzzling into Daniel's neck." You were getting me another one anyway," he teased, hoping to see a smile. He felt a tiny one against his skin. And for now, it was enough.

Summary: Daniel has a cop flirt with himDaniel groaned as red and blue flashed behind him, slowing his car before pulling over. The gray Kia came to a stop and he slammed his head against the head rest. Glaring at the outline of his sunroof. The sound of sharp, muffled footsteps hit his ears, causing him to roll down his window and sit up.
" Is there a problem, officer?" He forced a smile that faltered quickly. The cop was unbelievably handsome. Hair styled perfectly, jaw as sharp as a machete, steele blue orbs libbed with a smirk set firmly in place. If looks could kill Corbyn would be planning a funeral.
" Do you have any idea how fast you were going, beautiful?" He quirked a brow and some how looked better.
" I thought I was going the speed limit," his tone was breathy, causing the clearly older male to chuckle.
" Try 80 in a 70," Daniel felt his cheeks warm. How the hell hadn't he noticed that?" I'm sorry," he answered sincerely. The other softened slightly.
" Tell you what: you seem like a good kid and I couldn't live with myself if I gave some one as gorgeous as you ticket. So, I'll look the other way as long you promise I can take you out." The brunette was leaning against the side of car, eyes never leaving Daniel's.
" You don't have to bride me. I would've said yes anyway," he smiled, biting his inner cheek." Oh? So you want the ticket?"
" No no no, hold on. I never said that," he countered quickly. The officer laughing," that's what I thought." He looked down to write something on his notepad before tearing the paper.
" Here, give me a call and we can schedule a time and place," he handed him the paper.
" I will...", the smaller smiled," Jonah. And you are?"
" Daniel," the other, Jonah, smiled, clearly liking his name." Well, Daniel, I look forward to seeing you again."
" The feelings mutual," with a nod and a tap of the roof of car, Jonah went back to his cruiser. Daniel watching him walk away through his rear view mirror, enjoying the new angle.
