Looking at Gideon's father bothered me.
Trinity sat beside him as she sat silently. All of us just quiet as there was complete awkwardness. Especially the people he was eating dinner with hated him. I know I did.
"So, Gideon tells me you are his Seelenverwandte, no?"
"That's still in question. Not that I'm obliged to exactly answer you, I think this marriage has become somewhat...a little better. I used to distaste it, but I guess it's fine." I state honestly. Except I don't think his stupid father liked that.
Gideon was eyeing me with entertainment in his eyes. Wasn't sure what for but it was probably for something stupid. Or maybe it was for what I said - probably that.
"Gideon do you just let him talk like this?"
"Yeah he does. Got a problem with it? Actually, I don't care if you do have a problem with it." I sigh in content because I was having the time of my life.
Getting to be disrespectful to him was giving me so much joy I didn't know what to do. I know I was enjoying the time I had to do it.
"Don't know who you are but I'm not Gideon. I'd suggest you drop that attitude real quick-."
"Don't threaten him." Gideon interrupts angrily, a smile coming to my lips." Lost your mind old man."
His father continues to look like he wanted to strangle the living daylights out of me, but also Gideon as well. I didn't care that his father seemed to have a distaste for me and my presence. I don't mind leaving but I don't want to leave Gideon alone with him. Doesn't seem right...
"I'm famished, what about all of you? Damian, especially you-."
"Dad watch yourself." Gideon interrupts again and he snorted.
"You never let anyone talk to you so rudely. Especially me, you stuck up for me. Now you want to defend this disrespectful bitch?"
I raise my eyebrow since there was a child at the table. But she didn't even give a glance or seem to care. This is a norm for her...sadly.
"Dad don't make me do something I'll regret. The only reason why he's acting like this is because of you. Overall, you're just a nasty person, who'd be nice to that? I know I wouldn't be. But since you're my father in going to respect you...unless you push me too much."
His father rolled his eyes as he nodded at me.
"I wasn't able to make it to the wedding, but Damian I heard you were the difficult one. Wouldn't even kiss your own husband."
"Didn't need to. What we did later counts for a million kisses." I lie, Gideon snorting as all we did was him forcefully bringing me in the tub with him. I hated it...I couldn't wash myself without him getting hard like a teenager.
"I bet nothing happened."
"Oh! You're smart! I thought otherwise." I snap, seeing his eye twitch." I can go all day. I can insult you and not feel any ounce of remorse for my actions."
Smiling I look over at Trinity and see crayons wrapped up in a napkin. There was also a coloring sheet that the waitress gave us.
"Trinity would you like to color with me?" I ask, unwrapping the napkin and grabbing a crayon.
"Yes. I want the purple crayon and you take blue."
I grab the blue crayon and begin coloring the boys hair. Seeing her color the girls hair purple.
"Just because you're coloring with my daughter doesn't mean you can avoid me talking to you." I hear the old man say, my eyes traveling to his as he smirked.
