I stood before Sorrel as he cried, not sure how to handle his tears. Now that I know his past with Gideon...I see him in a different light. I thought it was just some obsession of his and that he had a child with him; but there was more to it than that - I see that now.
"I'm just pissed off! Why would they give me Lulu's number? Does he have Jun?" Sorrel cried even more, and I took his phone from him.
I ended up seeing Lulu's number and sigh, glancing at Sorrel.
"Did he say anything to you?" I ask him, and he shook his head.
"As soon as I heard his voice I hung up. The funny thing is is that this number isn't his regular phone number. This is some average number probably to hide his identity from others. I'm fucking pissed off! If he has Jun and never said anything I will kill him - Gideon would too!" He spat angrily, and I believed him on that one.
Gideon is heartbroken about Jun...if Lulu had his son or even knew about anything - and never said a word... I know that would break Gideon's heart and he'd hate him - or worse, he'd kill him.
"I'll call him again." I say, and Sorrel nods as he tried to regain his composure. "He will be on speaker and for the love of God, don't say anything that will make him have a hissy fit and leave. Then we really will have to involve others."
Sorrel sneered, but ends up nodding.
I sigh as I click the number, and it dials through. Hearing it call him, I became fascinated with all of this. To think I was doing something so serious and kind... The worst part is that I have to cross paths with Lulu. I was hoping to call a stranger and be civil.
Lulu on the other hand...I hate him. More than ever now.
"Hello? You called me yesterday and hung up instantly." Lulu says fast, sounding annoyed. I only pissed me off even more because it confirmed things even more.
"Don't hang up on me or I'll tell Gideon you have Jun." I sneer, and Lulu instantly chuckled. I was disgusted by his response and saw Sorrel get up so fast. But, I stood and grabbed his hand - shaking my head.
I pulled him back to the couch and he continued to hold my hand, but he was red with anger.
"Who told you that?" He asked me sinisterly, trying to sound threatening but I wasn't fearful at all.
"So is that your little way of saying you have Jun?" I question him, and he only laughs again.
"Bitch I don't have Jun-."
"Then why would a hospital tell Sorrel to call your ass bitch? Call me bitch and call you one too." I snap angrily.
"Because I had the hospital put my number in because I'm aware of Jun's whereabouts, and if Gideon ever thought about searching - he'd come to me. This was a plan of mine before your smartass even appeared in our lives-."
"What plan were you having that involved not telling us you knew about our son!" Sorrel interrupted loudly, and his hand tightened on mine the more angrier he became.
I could hear Lulu sighing in annoyance and that pissed me off even more. He had no right to be annoyed, at all.
"When we were teens I heard my father and Gideon's father speaking about their son. I learned that Gideon's father never put him up for adoption - he was going to, but didn't want to lose a King. So, he sent him to Australia where he is raised by elites. Not knowing of his family, just that he is lucky to be in the place he's at. I learned all this when I was nineteen and so, I called the hospital and asked them to change the number to the one you are speaking to right now. Lying, saying I had Jun and if his parents wanted to find him - contact this number.
