I cover my mouth with my hands as I look at her. "Cory, did you-?"

I stand up and walk towards him as he wraps his arms around me. I start to cry with joy.
"You lied to me."
"Are you mad at me?"
"I love you."
He pulls my face up to his and kisses my cheek.
I walk back over to the box and pick her up. "Wait. Whatever happened to sweets?"
"We gave him to Jacob for his birthday"
"Oh yeah! I forgot." She makes a tiny bark and then starts to lick my face. "How old is she?"
"4 months."
"Thank you baby."
"I'll do anything for you"
I sit down on the couch with the puppy and lay my head on Cory's shoulder. "What should we name her?"
"Well... she's gray. She's a husky. She's got two differant colored eyes so... this might be hard."
"Hmm... I don't know"
"How about... caseythereisanotherpresentforyouimtheboxonthekitchentable for a name?"
"Your an ass."
I get up and head to the kitchen table and open the box. In the miniature box is a brand new iPhone 5s just like I wanted.
"Thank you asshole."
"Anything darling."
