8 months later.
My life was awesome. Cory actually lived for a lot longer than the doctors said. They said they think he soon will be cured. What can I say, he's a fighter. Everything was going great.
Then this happened:
I open my eyes and turn to Cory. The bed was wet. "Cory my water broke"
He rushes me to the car and carefully puts me in. On the way to the hospital I try and look out the window to distract myself from the pain.
As I look I can feel my life drifting away. I am just having a baby why does it hurt so bad. I stare out the window and I can see mist forming. Not outside, but in my own eyes.
When we reach the hospital I am sent to a room. Later that night when the baby is born Cory finally gets to see me and her. He picks her up and gives her a kiss. "Hi Kiley" he says softly with tears.
She seems to be enlightened by the sound of his voice. She immediately stops crying and smiles. When he hands her back to me she stops smiling. I turn her around and say "hi baby" she again smiles at me too.
My baby Kiley was finally born.
