Last night really helped my confidence level and actually made me, happy. I sat in my office typing as Andrew came in and handed me the pile of papers.
"Here you go. You're due to arrive at five."
"Thanks Andrew."
He nodded and left the room. I smiled to myself and stood up, grabbing my bag and setting my things inside. I put my coat on and slung my bag over my shoulder. I sighed and walked out, knocking on Andrews door.
"Come in." He yelled. I walked inside as he typed.
"Well um, I'm off." I said.
"Alright. See you later." He smiled. I walked over to him and turned him in his chair, taking his face into my hands and kissing him softly. He smiled and pulled back.
"Come now Daniels. Don't have to do that anymore."
"No I..I just wanted to make sure. Still disgusted by you." I smirked.
"Yeah well, you'll always be repulsive to me. So get the fuck out of my office." He laughed. I giggled walking out of the office and out the building.
..
As I arrived, I noticed hoards of screaming girls outside going completely berserk. I had to show the officers my pass as they let me in. I looked for Brian, walking down halls and passing people with instruments. I stopped when I heard someone call out my name.
"Lucy!"
I turned around and smiled to see Richard wave at me. I ran up to him and jumped in his arms. He held me and twirled me around.
"It's so good to see you again!" He said holding me still.
"It's good to see you too! I missed you last time." I pouted. He laughed and shrugged.
"I must 'ave been busy. What are ye doin 'ere? Come to see us play?"
"In a way. Actually i'm doing this whole article about you guys. Although I don't really think John and Paul are too pleased with me being around." I said as he pulled my hand and led me into an empty dressing room.
"Fucking hell. I know John was really broken hearted when ye left. So was George. All of em were."
"Were you?" I asked. He nodded and looked at his drumsticks.
"Oh yeah. I mean ye were my friend and well, you being gone really kinda left me alone. I mean sure the lads are fine but, it's always nice to have a lady friend around." He blushed. I smiled and looked down.
"So um, it seems they all moved on huh? Paul, John, George...have you?"
He shook his head. "Nah. I mean I'd like to tell ye there's a missus Starkey but.."
"Who needs one girl when you can have any you like?" I joked. He laughed and shrugged.
"I dunno. I mean the birds are great but...ye know when were off at a premier, 'avin a party or goin on vacation...all the lads have a girl by their side and me well, I'm just alone I guess. I mean John doesn't even want to be in a relationship but, I envy him. Atleast he has someone to go home to at night."
I felt bad for Richard. He really wanted what everyone else had. A significant other. He wanted what everyone was taking for granted. Love. He felt left out...like me.
Just then we heard someone knock on the doorframe and stand in the doorway watching us. I looked over to see George.
"Were on in twenty Ringo."
