I was sitting in bed, in just a bra and underwear later that evening as I wrote down in my notebook  when I heard a knock on my door. I sighed and grabbed a shirt, pulling it over my half naked body, opening the door to see George.

I froze. "George? What are you doi...!" I was interrupted by his lips on mine. He backed me into my room and closed the door behind him. I pushed him away and stared at him.

"What the hell was that!?"

"It was a kiss! Lucy I've been thinking a lot about you recently and...I want you.."

I shook my head. "No George. I'm here for buisness only. And what makes you think i'd just give in like that!? George you have a girlfriend."

"I don't."

"What?"

"We split when we got back to England a few months ago. Lucy, when I saw ye again, I realised that not matter who I was with...I'd never be in love love. It'd be just be some charade that I was trying to fool myself into thinking. With you I...I feel like I belong. Like I'm myself again. I still love ye Luce."

I sighed and looked down shaking my head. "George I...I don't know what to even say."

"Tell me you still love me too."

I couldn't help staring into his pleading, beautiful, heartfelt eyes. I could still see that fourteen year old I once danced with. The kid who used to stutter around me. The kid who made me laugh and had those deep conversations with me up in my room as the others practiced downstairs. But things were different now. We were adults and they all needed to understand that I've moved on.

"I love you George. I really do but...I can't go back to that life again. It almost destroyed me. You need to move on." I rubbed his arm and gave him a small smile. He looked down and sniffled a little. I felt my heart sink. "Geo please don't cry."

"I..I'm not I..."

I wrapped my arms around his shoulders and leaned into him, resting my head on his chest.

"It doesn't mean I won't be here for you. I miss you a lot George. The real George. This George."

I looked up at him as he gave me a small smile. "Lucy you always knew how to cheer me up."

I smiled and gave him a quick kiss.

"You better get back or the guys might think you've run away."

"Yeah. Although that ain't a bad idea."

I giggled as we held hands, walking to the door. I looked down.

"George I...I want you to remember something."

"Anything."

"I want you to remember that, I'll always love you. And if you ever need someone to talk to or...the guys are being stuck up pricks, my room is always open for you."

He smiled and nodded. "That's good to know Luce. It's nice to be friends again."

"It is." I said brushing his hair away from his eyes. "You've gotten so tall." I whispered.

He blushed and scratched the back of his head and leaned down giving me a small but sweet kiss. I smiled against his lips and watched as he nodded and left the room, closing the door behind him. I just stood alone in my room, looking down at my feet.

This is going to be a long month ahead of me. A long month full of teasing and showing the guys just what they're missing. I smiled to myself and went back to my work. Who knew the fab four could be defeated by just one girl.
