The concert lasted only about half an hour. But it was enough to satisfy all the girls in the crowd. It was fascinating to watch all these girls go completely wild over these four simple guys from Liverpool. The guys I grew up with who used to fight over who got the last slice of pizza when we went out to eat after a gig. How simple things were then.

It was ten now as the guys came back from the stage, tired, sweaty and full of energy. I was talking on the phone with Andrew as the guys came over. Paul was waiting to use the phone as I finished up.

"Don't forget to take your meds now alright?"

"Yeah I know I know. Look I have to go now. Gig is over and I've got to head to Las Vegas tomorrow. I'll send you a postcard alright?"

"Be sure to kiss it before you send it!"

"Alright Andrew. Well, Bye now."

"Bye. Love you."

"I love you too. G'night."

We hung up. I sighed and scratched the back of my head. I turned to see Paul behind me. I just walked away and headed to my chair, grabbing my bag and setting my notes inside. Richard and George were being interviewed as John made his way to me.

"How come ye don't 'ave to interview any of us?"

"Because I'm writing an article about the effect and hysteria Beatlemania is having on the U.S."

"Oh yeah? Sounds pretty interestin. Send me a copy when you finish yeah?" He smirked.

"Ha Ha. Look um, about comin up to your room later, I'm going to have to decline. I'm a bit tired and my back hurts." I said yawning.

"Come on Luce. It's the beginning of a tour! How can ye be one of us if ye can't enjoy atleast a beer hmm?"

"That's the point. I'm not one of you anymore."

He looked at me and tapped the tip of my nose. "Then i'll come up to your room huh?"

I shook my head. "I don't think so. Plus, theres a pretty blonde girl over there who is making the eyes at you." I pointed to her as John looked over. I smiled and patted his shoulder. "Have fun tonight yeah?"

I walked away and made my way down the hall. I sighed as I felt his hand grab my arm.

"Come on. Are ye really gonna let me sleep with that bird?"

"Why not? You're not doing anything wrong. You're getting divorced, don't have a girlfriend." I shrugged. "Plus, what makes you think I don't have anyone waiting back in my room?" I smirked. I just wanted to mess with him.

"D..do you??"

"Wouldn't you like to know." I said kissing his cheek and making my way back to the hotel.

"Woo Las Vegas baby!" John yelled as we arrived at another hotel. I giggled as George rolled his eyes and covered his ears.

"Did you see all those lights? It's like a magical town." Richard said as we piled into an elevator.

"Yeah a magical town of sin. Which is exactly why i'm goin exploring once I set my things away in my room." I smiled happily.

"Show off." Paul said.

"Aye Brian do we get to explore?" John asked.

"No Lennon. Ye got rehearsal, then a few telly interviews and then to the convention hall. These next few gigs will last a few minutes longer."

"Fuckin hell. Look if we got enough time to waste, can we go have a few drinks at a pub or somethin?" George asked.

"We'll see." Brian said flatly.

We all got out of the elevator and made our way to our rooms.

"Aye Luce, you comin down to rehearsal with us?" John asked as the others went inside their room.

I thought for a few seconds standing outside my own door. It would make a good peice about how they all get along during practice and such. I nodded.

"Okay. Just call me over when it's time." I smiled and made my way inside. I sighed and went straight to the shower, washing up and then getting dressed for the day. I wore a typical black pencil skirt, black stockings and white blouse with my grey coat over. I grabbed my bag and made my way downstairs to the small gift shop.

I found a nice postcard and sat at the lounge, writing to Andrew.

Dear Andrew. In Las Vegas now. Don't have much to write but i'm having a nice time so far. Can't wait to see you. Goin off to get lunch now. Love you!!
     Lucy, your number one.

I smiled and kissed it, leaving my lip print marked with my lipstick. I got up and made my way to send it off across the U.S. ..

I sat on one of the instrument cases, watching as John played along with Paul.

I blushed as he sang softly, glancing at me. Paul looked over at me, then looked back at John. I barely had anything written as George came over and sat next to me.

"What's it like bein our number one groupie?"

I laughed. "I'm not a groupie. I'm a journalist."

"Yeah well, I don't see any other journalists 'ere." He looked around. "I broke a string last night and I didn't get round to fixin it up. D'you mind?" He asked handing me his guitar.

"Okay. Fine." I went to work and fixed it in seconds. He smiled.

"Still have that magic touch huh?"

I smiled as him as he strummed slowly and tuned it. "Wanna know somethin?" He asked looking down at his feet.

"Yeah."

"Most of these songs we write. They're about you."

I watched as he got up and walked over to Richard, talking to him as John watched me, a wanting look in his eyes.
