“Welcome back, how’re you feeling?”

“Ugh, I feel okay, but I can’t really walk.”

“Yeah, I bandaged all the problems, so you should be okay. What happened to you anyways?”

“Well, I was trying to look for a special flower, but then these giant cats jumped out and clawed my legs." It was probably the jeweled-eyed cats. "I couldn’t really stand or fight back, so I’m surprised I didn’t die. They left me there, but I couldn’t leave, so I was just lying there, in pain. Eventually, a stampede of some kind of animal came out and trampled me. That’s how I got knocked out.”

“Man, I’m surprised you’re still alive. You stay here for a while and rest. If you need to go to the spring, you can use the crutches, and I’ll come along and help you if something happens.”

“Thanks, I really appreciate it.”

We had dinner and then went to bed. I had to help Ryoma eat and move him to his cot since he couldn’t really use his legs. That night, we stared at the mural, but Ryoma seemed to like the mural a lot less now, considering it was made out of love from Kyo. He just closed his eyes and tried to sleep. I enjoyed the mural though. It was really special to me.

The next morning, Ryoma told me he wanted to take a bath in the magical hot spring, or so I called it. I came with him on the way over to help him just in case he fell or something. We got to the hot spring, and I started to walk away, but then I heard Ryoma say, “Hey Sakura, you want to… join me?”

“Um… no. I prefer to bathe alone. Plus, you’re a dude, and I’m a chic.”

“I know, but I can’t really get in because of... you know.”

“Well, I guess I could help you in, but only that. I don’t want to see anything that might scar me.”

I had to help him in, and luckily I didn’t see anything bad, thank god. I left, and then had to come back later to help him get out.

“Are you sure you don’t want to go in real fast? I wouldn’t hurt.”

“I’m not letting you or Kyo seeing me in the nude.”

He finally got the point and got dressed. We went back to the shelter and had some lunch. Thankfully, Kyo didn’t know what I did to help Ryoma. He would’ve probably gotten really pissed off if I told him. We had dinner, and then went to bed.
