Freya's POV

"Now that you're finally 18 you should start taking driving lessons. I'm sick of having to drive you everywhere." said Blake jokingly.
"Fuck off, cousin. I shoot, you drive. It's always been like that." I said taking a drag off my cigarette.
"Also you should quit that." he added "In all seriousness, I know it's your way of coping with stress but it's just not good for you."
Since I had to join the gang three years ago I started to have a lot on my head so I ended up smoking as a way out. It wasn't good for me and I was fully aware but besides helping with my stress I thought it made me look cool somehow.
"Okay, so do I have to start taking driving lessons from a fellow gang member or do I get to go to an actual driving school?" I ask.
The only normal thing that I could do was going to high school. Now that I graduated I have to dedicate every single bit of my spare time to the tasks that I get from the leader.
"Unfortunately you can't go to a normal school. You'll have to take lessons from our leader's right hand, Reece. He has connections so he'll get you a real driver's license. You know him, right?" said Blake.
I was hoping that I would be allowed to go to a normal driving school but it looks like I can't.
"Yeah I do." I said looking down.
There was something I couldn't stand about this guy. He was one of my cousin's best friends ever since they were little so I was pretty familiar with him. He was most certainly not a bad guy but there was something about his perfect blonde hair and annoyingly gorgeous green eyes that just pissed me off. I never wanted anything to do with him but unfortunately he'll have to teach me to drive.

"Hey there, I'm Reece." he said smiling.
That grin on his face made him look like the most annoyingly handsome guy ever. It just made me want to punch him honestly.
"I'm Freya." I said, a sigh escaping my lips.
"Alright, today is going to be your first lesson. Have you ever tried to drive before?" he asked.
The kindness in his voice almost drove me insane.
"I did try my cousin's car once. It was one big ass flop but I do know which pedal is which." I said sarcastically.
"Shall we?" he said pointing to the freshly washed black car.
I could sense that the lesson is going to be literal hell but at least the car was gorgeous. Hell inside of heaven I guess?
