Freya's POV

I heard shouting in the living room of Reece's house. I've been staying at his place for a couple of days because I couldn't face Blake anymore. I have known what he's done and the worst part was that I had known about it even before Lexi did. Poor thing didn't deserve any of this.
"You fucking asshole, if you didn't love her why did you have to treat her like that?" shouted Reece. He probably smashed a vase because a breaking sound filled the air. "Do you really think I meant to hurt her? Of course I fucking didn't!" Blake shouted back. "I don't give a flying fuck about what you meant! I care about what you did and who you did it to, fuckhead!" exclaimed Reece as he slapped Blake. I hated seeing them like that. They were best friends since they were little. I had to do something. I couldn't just watch my boyfriend beat the crap out of my cousin even though he deserved every part of it. "You two! Stop this right now!" I said walking into the living room. "You must be fucking kidding me! You really couldn't find a better way to discuss this other than fighting?" I shouted at them. "Blake, just go home. I don't even want to see your face. To be honest I should've let Reece do what he wanted to do but you're lucky you're my only family that I have. Now get out of here." I said, not facing him and pointing at the door. He listened and did exactly as I told him to without even even trying to argue.
"What was that about, Reece?" I asked as Blake closed the door behind him. "What do you even mean? He fucking cheated on my sister!" he said. "As if they were really together. Let's be real here. For how long have they been dating properly exactly? Less than a month. And let me tell you, it was nothing that it appeared to be." I told him. "What? I'm very confused right now." he said. "Let me explain. She told me everything. She said she loved him? All lies. He lies to her about loving her? Very true. Neither of them loved each other. Never. And listen here, when he said he was only physically attracted to her, he was right; but guess what? She was fucking reciprocate. She told me everything. You know only what she wanted you to know because you're her brother and she kind of wanted to protect you." I explained. "So, you're telling me that my own bloody sister made a hell of a scene out of something that didn't really hurt her that much in the first place?" he asked. "Exactly. She's not the sweetheart you thought she is. Sorry to break it to you." I told him. "Just to clarify, I might have beaten the crap out of my best friend for no reason whatsoever?" he asked me again. "Well, yes. Unfortunately." I said. "Then I really am a dumbass." Reece added. "And that's exactly why I love you." I said, kissing him briefly.
