A week after all the tasks were finished I got an invitation from Liam to party. After all the shit I've been through I deserved a break so I decided to go with Reece.
It was on a Friday night. We walked inside Liam's house. He lived with Jack and Mike. Their house was almost as big as Reece's; just enough for 3 teenagers. Drunk people already crowded the place. Others were dancing in the living room and others were playing beer pong - one of them was my dear cousin, Blake. Another group of people were playing 'truth or dare' and I overheard a conversation between two girls. "I dare you to go and make out with that guy" one of the girls said pointing at Blake. I was sat there with my arms crossed watching their conversations. "Uh, okay." she said heading into Blake's direction. She looked familiar. Her voice sounded familiar. From what I heard her name was Lexi. I saw her approaching Blake boldly. She dragged him closer to her and managed to get a kiss from him. They proceeded to make out exactly like she was dared to. Honestly I couldn't care less about what Blake was doing but this wasn't really ok. I put it all together and figured out who she was: the girls that stopped me at the abandoned hotel. She was most certainly part of the enemy gang. I hoped for it to be just a hookup. If they were actually going to get together it would cause us trouble, loads of it. I didn't notice but Reece left my side and went into the kitchen to grab some drinks and got back to me right after. He handed me a red cup with beer and we went into the living room. "Is everything ok?" he asked me. "It's all good but I just saw Blake making out with a girl from the enemy gang." I told him. "You know nothing ever lasts for him. They probably won't even recognise each other after tonight." he said. "Yeah, probably." I said taking a sip of my drink. I noticed that Blake took Lexi and headed upstairs. He waved to me and Reece and climbed up the stairs with her. It was obvious what was about to happen. "Please tell me they'll use protection." I said to Reece laughing. "Knowing Blake, he probably has one in his wallet. If he gets her pregnant we really are fucked." he said also laughing. We put our drinks on a table and headed to the 'dance floor'. It all went nice until I felt a hand on my shoulder. I turned around and saw her. "What do you want?" I asked. "Easy, tiger, no need to jump like that." she said. I was looking at her with my arms crossed. I already disliked her. "Okay, so I just wanted to tell you one thing. I saw you at the abandoned hotel last week. You seemed really upset and I wanted to check if you're okay." she said. I tried to appreciate her kindness but she pissed me off. "And who are you?" I asked her. "I'm Lexi by the way. You are?" she introduced herself. "Freya. Now can I go mind my own business?" I told her. "Yeah, sure.I just want to know one more thing." she said. She was already pissing me off. "Whatever, go ahead." I said. "Do you know this guy, Blake?" she asked. My nerves exploded in that second. "You mean the guy that you've been making out with when I got here? The one that took you upstairs? Yeah that's my fucking cousin so be careful. If he breaks your heart don't tell me I didn't warn you." I told her off and went to look for Reece.
