After the lesson ended Blake came to pick me up. Since I joined the gang I had to move in with him which was a blessing and a curse. We were very close and loved each other a lot even though we were teasing each other all the time. He always took care of me and even saved my life once so I owe him almost everything.
"How was the lesson?" he asked after I fasten my seat belt.
"Let's just say the car was beautiful." I said.
It wasn't bad actually but Reece's company was still bothering me. He kept trying to be nice but I kept being distant.
"I'm not going to ask anything else but you know you can tell me everything okay?" he said.
It was pretty obvious that I wasn't in the best mood.
"I know that, dumbfuck." I answered. I loved calling him names and he was never hesitant in calling me back the same way.
"Alright then, little bitch." he said laughing.
I loved having someone like Blake always there for me. After I graduated high school I lost touch with almost all of my so called friends. I never really had anyone close to me, nevertheless a boyfriend. The idea of having one didn't appeal to me anyway. I was getting enough love and support from my cousin and my work for the gang was giving me confidence and filled my time so I was never bored.
"You look like you could use some time out today. Shall we go in town or something?" asked Blake as we reached a red light.
"Yeah why not. I need something to cheer me up." I said showing him a tiny smile. He turned the car around and headed to town. He decided to take us to the restaurant where we always went with our families when we were little.
Blake was only a year older than me so we basically grew up together. Before my family went bankrupt we always used to come here. I remember those good old times when we had no worries. I sometimes wish we could turn back time.
He pulls up in the parking lot in front of the restaurant and we both get out of the car. We walk inside as thousands of memories flood my brain. We took a seat at a table and ordered some food.
"So tell me, cousin, what was about that lesson that bothered you so much?" he asked me.
"Well, the thing is that ever since we were little I couldn't stand Reece. Now it's even worse. He was always that perfect kid that did no wrong. Now he's our boss' little bitch. Even the slightest glance at his face makes me want to puke." I said.
"You must really hate this kid, Jesus." said Blake laughing.
"I don't hate him, he just pisses me off." I said. Reece makes me feel weird. It's not hate but I don't like him either. He's so good looking that he's ugly. He's so cute that he's annoying. I don't understand these feelings and honestly I don't really want to.
