Freya's POV

After everyone left the mansion, George was last to leave. Blake told me what happened and I knew for sure that George needed support from someone close and I was the only close friend of his that was still alive. I couldn't imagine what was going through poor guy's heart. Right when he wanted to leave I grabbed his hand and dragged him back to the big table. "You're not leaving this place until you tell me what's bothering you." I told him as we sat back at the table. Now that no one else was there anymore he was able to let his emotion free and he started crying. I dragged him closer to me and hugged him tightly. "It's okay if you need to cry. I understand the pain you're going through." I said as one single tear dropped from my eye. "Loosing your family, your friends; isn't easy. It scars you and you'll feel the pain even years from now but I'll always be here for you." I added and wiped his tears away. "At least be glad you still have your parents. Some of us don't have that privilege anymore." said Reece as he walked into the room towards us. He was leaning against the doorway watching us, not wanting to interrupt. "I can't imagine the pain you're going through, G. But I do understand it just like Freya does. You see, being part of a gang means you have to sacrifice a lot. Even your loved ones sometimes, but you have to remember you'll always have us. No matter what the cost." he added as have G a brotherly hug. "Thank you so much guys, but I'd rather go home now. If anything happens I promise I'll let you know." said George as he grabbed his keys and left the room. "Take care, brother." I said as I watched him leave. He turned his head and closed his eyes approvingly then left. Reece watched his car take off through the big window of the dining room. The rain was awful and I was praying for G to drive carefully. "Guess we should head home now, right?" Reece asked me. "Yeah, we should. Let me grab my bag." I told him reaching for my little clutch that was laying on the table.
Later that night, at around 2 am I got a text from George that looked like a suicide letter.
"I can't take this anymore. I'm in way too much pain. The only way I could be with the ones that I love is to die. I promise I'll watch over you from up there. Take care of yourselves and please look after mum and dad.
With love, G."
Without thinking twice I woke Reece up, changed of my pyjamas and rushed to my car. On my way there I called Blake but he told me that he was at Lexi's and wasn't able to leave her alone. I drove as fast as I could to get to George's house. When we arrived it was still raining as it did the whole night. Me and Reece got out of my car and ran to the front door. I knocked on it a couple of times but no response. The rain had already drenched us by the time the door opened. George's mum opened the door, confusion dominating her face. "What's up with you, kids, here so late at night?" she asked us. "We need to see George. He texted me something and I'm very worried about him." I told her. "Well, darling, he's not home. He left right after he came back from your dinner." she told us. "What?!" exclaimed Reece. "Where could he have gone?" he added. "I think I know. Let's go!" I told him. "We'll let you know once we find him." I told his mum as we ran back to the car. "Where do you think he could be?" Reece asked me, running his hand through his wet hair as we got into the car. "Must be the abandoned hotel. He wanted to be with his loved ones and that's where Blake killed Lilly." I said as I took off. "Then that's where we're going." said Reece full of determination.
