Blake's POV
I knew that Freya wouldn't have supported me anyway and then I had the confirmation for it. What I wanted to do might have been above human morals but it was exactly what our laws meant. They used to say 'an eye for an eye'. I say 'a life for two lives that ruined a third'. Adrian has to pay for what he did no matter what others would say. At least I had Richard and his family by my side. Maybe our riot didn't have the best results but at least I was finally able to avenge my parents. 'Avenge the fallen' right?
I was heading to the guns room where Richard, Nicole, Scarlet and Theo were waiting for me, when Liam stopped me.
"Mate, I have to come with you. I know it's dangerous and that's exactly why I can't let Theo alone." he said. If Liam cared about something on this planet, that was Theo.
"Fine, you can come. The more the merrier, but please... don't die. I promised something to my cousin." I told him, pulling him by my side brotherly.
We entered the room together, all of us got what we needed and headed to our cars.
"Let's finish this bullshit!" I said getting out of the mansion.
Our plan maybe wasn't the best but it sounded great in my head. The only part that I hated was that Lexi was going to suffer out of this. Pretty much what we had to do was to chase The Bishops and find their new hiding place then catch Adrian alone. Easier said then done.
We all went to our cars and took Liam with me. Richard went ahead to search around town since he has been following The Bishops for a while now. After a good hour he called me and told me that he found traces of our guy. He had Nicole send Liam their location and we rushed into that direction. They were exactly on the opposite side of town, that meaning that it was going to take us a while to get there.
After 20 minutes of hell through the traffic of Manchester we got to our friends and began our so-called journey. Richard went ahead followed by his daughters as we were right behind them. We were almost out of town and on both sides of the road were factories and farms. Unexpectedly the old man took a turn to the left on a road that was heading into the woods.
"Where are you taking us, old man?" I said to myself looking at the gravel road.
"This looks creepy, mate." said Liam with a similar look to mine on his face.
"We're following criminals. I'm not surprised their hiding place is kind of scary." I told him.
"I just hope this one isn't as bad as the abandoned hotel. That place creeps the hell out of me. And now with all the dead bodies that just lay around there? No, thank you." he said shaking. For a second the memory of me killing Lilly and leaving her body there among the others popped in my head but I shook it away. I had to focus.
"Yeah, right." I said trying to seem careless. Right in that moment Richard and Scarlet stopped their cars and got out of them. I stopped and did the same not knowing why they did it.
"We have to walk from here, son." he told me. "We can't take out cars that close to them because they might hear us." he added.
"Alright, I'll take my guns and be right back." I said turning back to my car. I opened the boot of my BMW jeep and took a Benelli M4 shotgun and put it around my shoulder, took my favourite gun, clasped it to my belt and put a similar one in an ankle holder. Liam took the rest of the firepower and handed me the bag of knives. I've chosen two of my favourites and put them into the holder from my belt. He also took one for himself and did the same. We were literally looking like we were going to war. Well, in fact we were. It was a war of our own, a war that we had to win.
