Blake's POV
I don't know what happened that evening but I knew for sure that I shouldn't be waking up in Lexi's bed. I noticed that there were tins of beer by the side of the bed and clothes all over the room. Did we-? I couldn't remember. In that exact moment she entered the room smiling. "Good morning, sunshine!" she said as she opened the curtains and let the bright sunlight flood the room. "Yeah, morning - I said confused - how did I end up here?" I asked. "Of course you don't remember." she said sitting at the bottom of the bed. "We decided to have some drinks last night, in case you haven't noticed the rubbish laying around the floor." she said as she waved her hand showing around the room. My eyes locked on the small table that she had next to her bed. I noticed a full ashtray casually laying on it. I looked closely and noticed that there were only stubs of normal cigarettes, thankfully. "And you got worried about me and decided to stay over the night because you were too scared to let my drunk self alone." she added taking my attention away from the table. "One more question, - I said interrupting her - did we do anything else?" I asked leading her exactly to what I meant. "No. You can chill out. We fell asleep right after we took our 'street clothes' off. That's why they are on the floor." she answered. I let out a relieved sigh. I believed her only because I know that I always fall asleep when I get drunk.
I grabbed my phone to see if anyone tried to contact me that night or whether I've gotten a new task only to see a text from Freya. "I really wish this isn't the first thing you see in the morning but I've got some bad news for you. I'm not blaming you at all for what happened you just need to know that you bore a part of the blame as well. I wanted to check on George last night after the party only to find out that he ran away from home. Thankfully we found him right in time because he was intending to take his own life after finding out about Lilly. Poor thing was devastated but I managed to talk him out of it and Reece made sure to take him home safe. Please don't blame yourself for this, I just wanted to let you know. I know you were taking care of Lexi last night so I didn't ask you to come with us because I knew you had enough on your mind already." said the text. "Oh my God." I said to myself under my breath. "Is everything okay?" Lexi asked me. "Yeah, everything is fine. I just need to talk to George. No need for you to worry." I told her, not wanting to bother her with my problems knowing that she's been through enough already.
I noticed that I had another text, this time for Reece. "We've got new missions. Gang meeting tonight, 7pm, at the mansion." Alright, at least this one wasn't that bad.
