Freya's POV

I saw Blake rushing towards Kevin's lifeless body while I had to keep battling Adrian. Once in a thousand years I didn't want to kill someone. I knew it was too much of a big deal to kill someone that important to the enemy gang so I just shot his leg and ran towards Blake. "I have to kill whoever did this." he said extremely pissed off. "I think I saw who it was." said Reece approach us. "I saw her pointing the gun at you guys and I tried to run and stop her but it was too late. And trust me, Blake, you don't want to know who it was." he added. "Who was it, Reece?" I asked him desperately. "It was Lilly." said George as he arrived next to us. "Also, Richard called our friends from the police and got rid of these fuckers." he added. "What do you mean it was Lilly? Lilly like in 'I love you but I'm also shagging your best friend' Lilly? Because if yes I have one more than one reason to kill her." exclaimed Blake. "Stop that right there!" said George putting his hand on Blake's chest in order to stop him from leaving. "Why, George? You still have feelings for her? She's the one that fucking murdered your best pal. But apparently Kev mattered to me more than to you because it looks like you can turn a blind eye on the fact that the bitch you're shagging killed him. And don't you dare pretend I don't know you're the one that she cheated on me with!" said Blake pushing George out of his way and heading to his car. "What the actual-" George tried to say. "Shut it, Smith." said Reece as he took my hand and dragged me to the side. "What do we do now? Nothing can stop Blake from going after her." he told me worried. "I know but to be honest here, I don't even intend on stopping him. Remember, she's done it, she's gonna pay for it." I said. I didn't know what to do. George was one of my best friends and one of our best men but unfortunately he wasn't going to have our back on this. What surprised me the most was that he didn't give a fuck about the fact that his best pal was just killed and furthermore that he was the last person that his friend ever thought about. All that he cared about was the fact that Blake was willing to kill Lilly and good thing he was. I made a sign to Reece that I was going to my car and I decided to go after Blake. If he was going to get into deep shit again, I couldn't let him do it alone.
I walked through the blood filled yard and got to the garage. I opened the door, got into my car and took off. On my way to nowhere I called Blake. He told me that he's heading to the other gang's hiding place: the well known beloved abandoned hotel.
When I got there I saw his car parked in front of the hotel so I parked mine next to his. I went to get out of my car when I heard a loud gunshot, the sound of a body hitting the ground and a female scream. I put it all together and I realised what happened: Blake did what he wanted to do. Before I could enter the hotel he was already exiting. He put his gun back in his sheath and looked up only to see me in front of him. "I had to do it, Freya. I promised Kev to revenge him and that's what I did." he said as he pulled me into a hug. "And it's exactly what you should've done." I said looking up to him and wiped a little tear that dropped from his eyes. Even the biggest criminals have moments of weakness, moments in which you can see who they really are. Behind Blake's bad guy, criminal, heartless persona was hiding a kind, loving soul that no one except for me has ever seen. He had always referred to himself as a bad, heartless asshole when he was just a miss understood kind heart.
