"No no no no! This can't be it!" I've told myself. "We have to do something about this!" I screamed at Blake. "We have to...we must..." I was stumbling on my words through sobs. "There's nothing we can do, cousin. It hurts me as much as it hurts you. We have to deal with it too. Like we always deal with things." he told me holding me close to him. "I refuse to do nothing and let them take our friend away from us! Not like that! I won't let them lay a finger on him. Not even over my dead body!" I shouted. I didn't care about anyone that could've heard me.The only person that truly loved me was going to be killed and I couldn't do anything about it. I couldn't have lived with myself if I hadn't even tried to do anything to save his life. "Blake, he's the only person that has ever loved me, besides you, obviously. I can't let anyone take him away from me. Especially not right now." I said looking down, trying to stop crying. "I get it, but there's nothing that someone in the right state of mind could do." he said. "Thank fuck, I'm not." I said, a spark of subtle happiness crossing my face. "Let's go home. I've got a plan and we don't have much time." I added. We stood up from the park bench where we were staying and headed to our cars. "See you home, bitch!" I exclaimed to Blake, climbing inside my car.
We got home quick and rushed into the kitchen. "Wait here!" I told Blake as I went to my room and brought some things to elaborate my plan. "Okay, so..." I said rolling out the sketch of our boss' house. I had no idea why I had it but it came in handy. "Here's the front entrance. It's guarded usually by two people. Surely we can't enter through there." I said showing him every single thing on the sketch. "But here, -I said pointing at the fence of the back yard- it's a dead spot. Don't ask me how I know but the cameras here don't work, plus there's a gap in the electric fence that's waiting to be used. Here, -I said pointing at one of the rooms upstairs- is where they keep the 'prisoners', in our case, Reece. If we enter through the back yard we got clear area until we reach the back door. I know one of the maids so she's gonna cover up for us. She's gonna leave the back door unlocked for us to enter and we'll make our way to the room where they keep Reece. We'll take him and leave through the balcony of that room. At this part G will come in with a ladder to help us get out. Understood?" I ask Blake with a smirk. "Girl, I knew you were crazy but this is insane. You are mad to think that I'll get myself into this mess. This is batshit crazy!" he told me. "This is our only chance at getting Reece back, at getting our friend back! What do you mean you're backing of now?" I said visibly revolted. "Please. Can we at least try and save our friend?" I plead him. "If we get killed too, it's only your fault!" he said. I promise we won't!" I said satisfied. I did all the calls that were necessary and the plan was up and running.
The night came and we headed to my car and I drove to our boss' mansion. I parked the car in the woods behind it, hidden. We got out and headed to the gap in the fence. Thankfully it was big enough for us to fit though it. Just to make sure, I threw a stone at the surveillance camera then entered the house. The maid was waiting for us. "The room is this way. You go up the stairs. It's the second room on the left." she whispered to us. We followed her instructions. When we arrived at the bottom of the stairs I heard steps upstairs so I loaded my gun silently and climbed the stairs quietly. When we got upstairs I saw a big guy guarding the room where Reece was kept. Blake went ahead to create a diversion and capture the attention on him while I sneaked behind the guardian and shot him in the right leg. In the right second Blake covered his mouth and took the keys of the door from him and threw them to me. I went and opened the door. I found Reece staying cuddled up in the middle of a one-person bed. He raised his head and looked me dead in the eye. "Freya, what the fuck are you doing here? " he exclaimed quietly. "Saving your life, you dummie." I said untying his hands. Poor thing was tied to the bed while waiting to be killed the next day. I couldn't imagine how hard it will be for him to get over that traumatic experience. Next thing I heard was a bang on the balcony. It was George. If he knew one thing, that was to make an entrance. "You guys go, George has arrived with the ladder. I have one more unfinished business I need to finish." I said as I left the room.
