Alice vs Asuna - chapter 7

I watch as Asuna pours her guts out to Alice.

"I'm his wife! You barely even know him!"

"I spent my life looking after him for two years, where were you?"

Asuna gasps, hurt by the comment.

"I-I was doing all I can to find him and reach him!"

"Did you try hard enough?"

Both Asuna and I gasp, hurt, shocked and wounded from the past.

That's it!

Alice, you've gone too far this time, too far!

How dare you talk to Asuna that way?

Who the hell do you think you are!?

I instantly yell.

"Alice, that's enough!"

As I pant from my yelling, Alice flinches and opens her mouth to say something but is interrupted by the slam of a door.

I look up instantly to the direction of the door.

It was Asuna.

She walked out on me.

Again, I don't blame her.

This whole misunderstanding is killing me.

I don't blame Asuna for feeling what she feels, I only blame one person for this.

Not myself, but I blame Alice.

She's the one who started all this.

This could have been avoided, but no, she decides to try and make a move on me...Goddam it Alice! I don't love you the same way I love Asuna!

Without any words needed, I grab my jacket and run out of the door.
