The sky was gloomy, the rain had just stopped pouring, yet Asuna didn't care about any of that...in fact, she was more concerned about how quiet her boyfriend was being while walking beside her.

They had both just left Agil's cafe and had finished an interesting discussion with Kazuto and their friend Asada,  regarding what kind of work he has been up to.

Kazuto Kirigaya explained that he had been recruited for a part time job working with a Government Organisation known as R.A.T.H. It was no ordinary part time job though, as Asada and Asuna soon found out that part of Kazuto's job included using a Soul Translator machiene, which has the ability to copy people's souls, to make a copy of Kazuto's soul and have his conciousness enter a fake reality, only to have his memories blocked after he awakens, which used FullDive technology to do so...simular to a NerveGear.

This fact alone concerned and worried Asuna... her boyfriend had already been through so much these past few years... and was mentally still recovering from the incident of the death game they both luckly escaped, still taking counselling sessions, trying to make it look like that he's not affected when really deep down inside, Asuna knew just how affected he was by everything.

On top of that, Asada had pointed out that Kazuto had lost some weight, noticing how skinnier Kazuto appeared to be, which made Asuna worry even more about his current health.

His part time job required him to have a heart monitor implanted onto him at all times to track his pulse during his time spent in a Soul Translator. Upon hearing about this, Asuna wasted no time in asking Kazuto to create an app for her where she could keep monitor of his pulse from her smartphone.

When Kazuto questioned Asuna's reason for this, she explained that it gave her more of a piece of mind knowing he was safe.

They continue walking along the street on their way to Asuna's house, in utter silence, the only sounds around them are passing cars on the road, their footsteps, and the sound of Asuna's own heartbeat thumping in her head.

She couldn't help but wonder why Kazuto knew so much about Soul Translators and FullDive technology. Sometimes she wished that he would know less about these things, as he did spend two whole years in a coma...she also hated the fact that Kazuto was experimenting with machiene trials from a shady government organisation and feared the worst deep down inside.

What if something goes wrong while Kirito's in the machiene?!...what if he doesn't wake up?!...I can't loose him!

Asuna couldn't help but think of all these thoughts.

She sighs under her breath, trying to compose herself as they both continue walking.

Deep down, she knew the real reason why Kazuto was remaining silent.

Kazuto had decided a while ago to go to America for the summer and attend a school to persue his career in mechatronics.

He only informed Asuna of his decision after he was sure himself it was what he wanted to do, yet Asuna knew her boyfriend from inside out and could tell when something was up with him. After all, they were husband and wife in-game.

As they continue walking, Asuna looks at Kazuto, who looks away from her.

Asuna sighs and wastes no more time in pondering what Kazuto was thinking.

She stops in her tracks.

Kazuto notices this and turns to face her.

She faces Kazuto.

"Talk to me."

A car passes them both in the distance.

Kazuto takes a moment to find the right words to say as he looks at her.
