Kirito's accidental virtual waifu! | part 1

As the sky turned pitch black and the sunset faded, night-time had approached the Kirigaya household.

At last Kazuto Kirigaya put down his pencil and closed his workbook. He picked up his stuff and sighs in exhaustion. Never did he think working for five hours straight would exhaust him as much as it did.

He makes his way to the fridge to get a glass of water. After doing so, he makes his way upstairs, passing both his parents and his little sister's room and wishes them goodnight.

Little did they know, although he may have been saying goodnight to them, sleeping was the last thing on Kazuto's mind.

"Finally after studying for so long...I can join Asuna and the others in-game..."

Kazuto makes his way to his room. As he reaches for the door handle to open the door, he hears a slight thud coming from inside the room.

He pauses for a moment and raises his eyebrow in suspicion.

"Huh?...what was that?"

He slowly walks forward to the door and while keeping a firm grip on the handle, slowly opens the door.

As he does so, he hears a slight yelp, followed by a thud.

His eyes widen as he takes a few steps in.

He wasn't sure how to react to what was in front of him.

Kazuto's glass falls from his hand.

He stands behind his door, frozen.

Not knowing how it was even possible, there was a girl sitting in the middle of his room on his wooden floor.

The girl had pink hair, styled in two pig-tails and green eyes, she was wearing a gold top with pink stars on them followed by a pink skirt with ruffles on the end,  which had matching pink stockings and and pink shoes.

She looked to be around the same age as Kazuto's younger sister.

Kazuto, who was still frozen at this point, stares in shock at the girl.

The mysterious girl looks up at him.

Their eyes meet.

After blinking a few times and trying to form words, Kazuto manages to open his mouth after a few seconds pass.

Nervously, he speaks.

"E-excuse me..?"

The girl continues looking at him, after a few seconds, she blushes and nervously bows to him.

"F-forgive me for not introducing myself earlier! I-I am Miki Nakashi of class A1! N-nice to meet you, senpai!"

Kazuto points to himself nervously in confusion.

"S-senpai?...you mean me?"

The girl nods and blushes.

Kazuto takes a moment to pinch himself.

He flinches in pain, then sighs to himself.

Why is there some random girl in my room and why is she calling me senpai!?

"E-excuse me, senpai?"

"Huh?"

"W-where am I exactly?"

Kazuto kneels down to the girl.

"Y-you're in my room."

The girl turns beetroot red.
