Hayden was literally heartbroken. Later that night he walked over to Annie's house, knowing a boy would be there with her, and punched the guy till his face was beaten. That guy was Asher. Turns out Peyton was pregnant, but of course, got an abortion! Asher was there to tell annie. But somehow, the two ended up in bed.

Hayden replayed the words Annie spoke to Asher before Hayden interrupted.

Annie never called Hayden "love". Hayden was even more hurt, if that was possible. Turns out, it was possible.
Three days go bye, and Annie was calling Hayden nonstop. But he never answered. Somehow, he never did, and no one believed he could make it. And they were right.
After 5 days of no Annie, he couldn't take it. Annie went to his house, everyday since the breakup, exactly at 3:45 pm after school.
The next Monday, the two went to school together. And everyone knew exactly what happened. Annie claimed herself the victim, and Hayden forgave her, again.
