"Rise and shine, birthday girl," I hear someone whisper. I run my eye and open them up, adjusting to the light.

"Good morning. I made you breakfast downstairs," Danny says. "Thanks, Dan," I say, getting up from the bed.

We walk downstairs together and he fetched me a plate. "We need notify your friends about you little party," he says, scooping eggs onto the plate.

"Yeah, I'll call them after we eat. Well, I'll call Freddie and Roger later because they probably won't be getting out of bed until lunch," I giggle.

I have recently learned that Roger likes to sleep in. I went his apartment for lunch the other day and no one answered the door. Turns out he was still asleep!

He told me the only reason he wakes earlier when he's with me is because when he sees my face he can't fall back asleep. He said it's because he likes to watch me because I'm so peaceful and beautiful in my sleep.

I get butterflies in my stomach thinking about his words.

"What's got you all flustered? That boy, Roger?" Danny asks. "Shut up," I play.

"When are you leaving, Dan?" I asks him. "Tomorrow night," he says with disappointment, "but me and Beth have been thinking. After we get married, we might move down here. There's more job opportunities for her down here."

Beth, his fiancé, is a fashion designer. She works at a little boutique in York and is yet to get her big break.

"That's wonderful, Daniel," I say. "Yeah, the only upsetting part is I'll have to see you more often," he jokes.

"Oh, shut up." We banter the rest of the breakfast and hang out in the living room afterwards.

"Hello, Mary!" I enthusiastically say. "Hey, Ellie," she greets, "Happy Birthday."

"Thank you! I'm having a little get together later, would you like to please come?" I invite her. "Of course! I'm assuming you want me to tell Fred?" She asks.

"Yeah, go ahead. I'm planning on asking just the boys over," I explain, "We are going to play some games and watch the tele."

"Sounds like good fun! What time should I come around?" She asks. "Around 4," I tell her.

"Okay, see you then. Bye," she bids. "Bye, Mary," I hang up the phone. I called Brian and John and told them to bring their wives too. Okay, now I just have to call Roger.

"Hello," He says, groggily. "Did you just wake up?" I ask him. "Oh, hey Ellie," he says.

I roll my eyes. "Happy birthday, love," He tells me. "I bought you a present. Can I come over later and give it to you?" He asks me.

"Roger, you didn't have to get me anything," I say with a silly smile. "Of course I'm going to get you something, baby," he tells me. "Well, I'm having a little party at four and I'm inviting the boys and their wives," I explain.

"Okay, Love. Do you mind if I come a little early? I want to spend some time alone with you," he asks me.

"I'd love that, Roger. Come around two," I tell him. "Okay, baby, see you soon," he says. "Bye Roger," I hang up the phone.

Looking at the clock, I see the time is already one.

"Ellie, come look what I have!" I hear Dan yell downstairs. I run down the steps and see him in the living room by the record player.

"What?" I ask. He turns around with a big smile on his face. He holds up two Rolling Stones records.

When we were teenagers, we would listen to them everyday. We would just sit in one another's room and talk for hours with their music playing.

"We haven't listened to them in forever, Danny," I say excitedly. "Come on then," he waves me over. A huge smile over takes my face as he lays down the vinyl.

We listen to them while talking and sharing stories. "Remember when we stole mom's necklace so we could get money to buy tickets to the Beatles movie?" He asks.

"That was hilarious. Of course I remember," I laugh. "What about that time you lost dad's favorite hat?" I say. "I can still feel the pain of him whipping me," he winces.

I hear a knock on the door then, "Happy birthday, love," I look up from where I had my head on Danny's lap. "Hey Roger," I smile.

"You know what, I need to run to the store to get snacks for your party," Danny says. "Okay, hurry back though," I say waving goodbye.

"Don't get handsy with her while I'm gone," he points at Roger. He nods his head and Danny leaves.

"Come dance with me," I pull him towards me in the living room. He smiles and spins me around.

"Ooh, I know what song I want to dance to," I say pulling away. I run the the record player and remove the vinyl. You can probably guess what I'm going to pick.

I put in Abbey Road and move the spike thingy to the track, Something.

I quickly turn back around and run into Roger's arms. "You really like this song, don't you?" He chuckles. I nod my head and lean it on his shoulder. I close my eyes and listen to the beautiful song.

He wraps one hand around my waist and the other has a tight grip on mine. "We'll dance to this song at our wedding," he whispers.

My eyes shoot open and I look up at him. "What?" I ask. "You heard me. You're going to be my wife one day and this is the song we'll dance to when that happens," he confirms.

I blush and place my head back on his shoulder. "I love you more than anything in this world," he tells me. "I love you too, Roger Taylor."
