Ch 38: Meeting Sir

From this point on, there will be major spoilers for anyone who does not read the manga!! I'm sure that is obvious since the last chapter finished off where the anime is, but I thought I'd say something anyway! 

So if you're an anime only person and don't want spoilers for the upcoming season four, then you will have to stop reading here until the anime continues.

Valkyr hugged Bakugou before heading out. She had to meet up with someone this morning. She walked out and met up with Mirio Togata. "Morning Mirio-senpai!" she said walking up nervously. 

"Good Morning Aizawa!" Mirio said cheerfully. "We are waiting on one more." 

"Please call me Valkyr or just Val," Valkyr told him. She was curious as to what was going on. But she had been told by her dad to meet up with Togata this morning. Apparently his mentor wanted to meet her and offer her an internship. 

"Alright Val," Mirio said. "Then you may call me just Mirio. Hopefully we will be working together from now on. Sir was really impressed with your skills when I told him about the other day."

"So you're not upset?" Valkyr asked nervously. 

"Upset? Why would I be?" Mirio asked. 

"Sorry I'm late!" Midoirya yelled as he ran up. He stood there breathing heavily and then finally noticed Valkyr. "Ahhhh....Valkyr what are you doing here?"

"Little Val will be coming with us," Mirio said happily. "Sir wants to meet her." Valkyr gave Midoriya a soft smile. She felt better with her friend next to her. 

"I see," Midoirya said. They all walked to the train station together. She held onto Midoirya's hand as they went. "Are you going to be alright Valkyr?"

"I got you Izu," Valkyr smiled at him. "I'll be fine." Midoirya blushed and nodded. Mirio watched them curiously and grinned. She sat between the two boys on the train. She felt her phone vibrate and she pulled it out. She smiled seeing a text from Bakugou. 

Katsuki: You alright, nerd?

'I'm fine. Izu is heading to the same place I am.' Valkyr texted back. 

"Texting Kacchan?" Midoriya asked. Valkyr nodded. 

"Yea," Valkyr said. "After the other day, he is worried about me." She sighed. "Plus I'm sure he isn't enjoying having to spend time with Shoto." She giggled. 

"Oh yea, they have their classes today," Midoirya said. Valkyr nodded. 

"So even if I wasn't getting an internship I wouldn't be spending time with him anyway," Valkyr said. 

Katsuki: Fucking Deku?? Why the fuck is he there?

Katsuki: He better not let anything fucking happen to you!!

Valkyr rolled her eyes at his text. 

'He isn't responsible for me. I can protect myself.' Valkyr texted back.  

"Is your boyfriend protective?" Mirio asked. Valkyr blushed deeply. 

"Katsuki isn't my boyfriend," Valkyr said looking down. Mirio raised an amused eyebrow at her reaction and then seeing Midoriya's reaction. The way he looked at her, even he could see Midoriya liked the girl. Suddenly Midoriya's phone went off. Valkyr looked over at him. Midoriya looked at his phone and sighed.
